do you know why the Higgs boson is called also ‘God’s particle’? I read it yesterday.
A physicist wrote a book on it many years ago, and titled this book ‘The Goddamn particle’, because they were searching and searching but couldn’t find it.
The editor decided to change the title in ‘The God particle’, for purely marketing reasons. And he did good, because the book sold a lot.
Isn’t it *hilarious*?
But this could not change anything at all in your explanation and insight, as we know that all these processes of naming etc. are… usually part of the process. Well, sometimes, at least. ‘Goddamn’ points to God anyways.

Regarding your Higgs’ boson research news, P. Sophia’s quote included remarks about gravity and that put me in mind of the Great Attractor. Phil Sedgwick says “The attraction to this point possesses a seductive tone, but in a classical Sagittarian mode. There’s something about it. It seems to possess this energy – it’s mysterious, it’s captivating, it might even be a direct personification of the Creator! Regardless, it knows something you have to know.”
Last month when Venus occulted the Sun, it was in opposition to the Great Attractor (14+ Sagittarius), which was also square Mars in Virgo. the asteroid Atlantis at 14+ Aquarius trined Venus, the Sun and Chaos in Gemini and sextiled the GA, adding the supportive technology it symbolizes to the event.
As you pointed out, the timing of the news coinciding with the Full Moon yesterday also happened to trigger the Venus-Sun-GA pattern from June, in that the GA and Atlantis were sextile. Yesterday’s Sun (consciousness) in the Full Moon chart forms a yod with the sextile of Atlantis and the GA in the Venus-Sun chart, and the Full Moon who was opposite the Sun, was conjunct Pluto, as he squared Uranus. I believe this might give us a clue as to the Moon’s role in the series of monthly occultations she is performing with Pluto. Wouldn’t the “demonstration of the existence” of the “God’s particle” be a logical outcome of contact with “a direct personification of the Creator”?

Paola, weird… Just this morning the thought of light speed in relation to a personal connection came to me. I am certainly not a physicist, but when I saw your sychronic comment here i had to look up wiki reference, and this is what hit for me;
‘According to special relativity, c is the maximum speed at which all energy, matter, and information in the universe can travel. It is the speed at which all massless particles and associated fields (including electromagnetic radiation such as light) travel in vacuum. It is also the speed of gravity (i.e. of gravitational waves) predicted by current theories. Such particles and waves travel at c regardless of the motion of the source or the inertial frame of reference of the observer.’

Higgs’ boson is the phenomenon that allows particles to slow and acquire a mass. Without it everything in the universe would move at light speed. (This is the best I can explain what I understood – sorry, if physicists are reading).
It’s not exactly a ‘discovery’: it’s the demonstration of its existence.
And – the last phase of the research had started in December 2011, so has taken place during all the period of Mars in Virgo, and closes beautifully with the announcement after Mars went out of Virgo. What a better period to research infinitesimal particles? Thank you Mars.

Today at the Cern of Geneva the official announcement of the discovery of the Higgs’ boson – or ‘God’s particle’. The research had started in 1964, when Peter Higgs hypotized its existence. I couldn’t help thinking that it’s happening exactly after Mars entered in Libra and added its energy to the Uranus-Pluto square, plus the Sun in Cancer + full Moon in Capricorn… They say that a new era of physics is born!

Y’know Eric, I was writing to a friend about how I still feel this fear that I’ll be dragged into old guilt trips, and what’s more, this idea that I have an interior check list of what a “suitable” girlfriend should be based on my mother’s opinions. With all the current astro with Mars and Saturn (and their aspects) in my solar 12th of Libra, I am scared that I’ll have to explode in order to define my space, or destroy old clinging patterns. I’ll have to be sympathetic and creative to be able to steer that energy into a constructive convo. Otherwise I start to get all Phoenix like.
