Astrology Today: Oracle for Wednesday, June 6, 2012

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Aquarius weekly for Feb. 6, 2004.

Astrology Blog: The Oracle, Weekly Horoscopes, Monthly Horoscopes.

We learn by example, especially when it comes to learning passion. This will happen to you in some new respect soon enough. Meanwhile, I can lay a little theory on you. Passion is freedom. One’s inner ability to feel pleasure, pain and hunger are tantamount to the ability to breathe. Yet passion is a feeling that many people think threatens the known order of reality, which is typically maintained by emotional control. This is another term for morality. You neither need to be afraid to let go, nor of the unusual psychic depth to which this will take you. You’re being reminded of a dimension of who you really are but are so often uncomfortable showing to others. The discomfort comes from the act of hiding. It seems to prove its own validity. Only you can prove something else.

Note, The Oracle is a random selection from the Eric Francis horoscope archives. Each day we publish one entry from among the 10,000 in our database. It’s a little slice of horoscope history — but chosen by our Oracle program, which always speaks to the present moment. New horoscopes are published each Friday plus twice a month in Planet Waves subscriber edition and Planet Waves Light. And for your 2012 annual reading, you’ll find Revolution. Revelation. Reality Check.

  1. Hallelujah! It’s been fixed. Many thanks Anatoly (I imagine?). And good for you for pointing it out Lucky D.

  2. Similar problems to everyone here. Though I find that once i log in I’m able to read the ‘mystery’ comments.

  3. I’ve had the same problems off and on as well. Comments take a long time to appear and sometimes when I click on a comment on the recent comment bar, the comment isn’t in the post. I thought it was just me. But I guess it was the Gulf of Aden Vortex?

  4. I blame retrograde Venus and Neptune. And the Gulf of Aden Vortex………

    dundundunnnnnnn…

  5. Hi again Admin –
Just to answer your last question, I have tried things every which way. I stay logged in and on the site, I leave the site and re-enter, I log out and go away for a while. I even changed internet browsers, which did not work either. At first I thought maybe all comments were being moderated, but now I decided to check it out because like MandyM mentions, sometimes you see someone posting and want to respond right away.

  6. happening to me too, don’t think it’s a browser issue because i’ve tried posting from different ones and it still happens. noticed that it takes a little bit then it’s there, and in my case it was not because of being caught up in moderation for having multiple links. noticed also that when i see new comments on the side and then click on them they’re not there yet, even after refreshing. then a few weeks ago comments disappeared completely from a posting but that one may have been intentional.

  7. I noticed it about 3-4 weeks ago. Doesn’t matter if you stay logged in, log out or refresh. Just the other night as I clicked to log out, I noticed that Amanda had just posted a comment (it was right at the top above mine in the recent comments section). When I came back to the site, neither her nor my comment was anywhere. I refreshed the home page, still nothing. I went directly to the post and still nothing (my refresh button has never been busier than on your blog this month because of this).
I just assumed that Anatoly puts things on pause while he sleeps as it seems to happen during the late night hours (I’m EST).
This happened in wee hours recently, would have liked someone to chat with – I noticed Huffy had commented, I knew she was logged in right then and there (same thing as Amanda) and was disappointed that we couldn’t talk. Sometimes it takes a few hours to show.

  8. luckydriver and admin … yes, I’ve been having the same issue. I assume it is because my browser is out of date (I am using an ancient version of OSX). Been going on for several days.

  9. Admin response: Noone reported about similar problem. Are you staying logged in for a while after posting your comment and checking it onsite?

    Hi admin –
Refreshing does not help the situation at all; I tried that and have been trying it since the problem started. Like I said, the comments used to appear immediately, but something just changed a couple of weeks ago. I just thought I would see if anyone else was encountering a similar issue. Thanks!

  10. Admin response:

Your comments appears immediately (exclude moderation cases, when comment has 2 or more links in the text etc). If you not see them (comments) in the right sidebar — just refresh your page (clear browser cache).

    =============

I’m not sure where to post this, so I’ll drop it here. I don’t know if anyone else has been experiencing issues with posting comments, but in the last couple of weeks something wonky has been going on, at least for me. If I post a comment, it no longer appears immediately. It might appear in the comments column to the right of the site about 20 minutes after I post, but it won’t appear in the actual article until about an hour after I post. Also, if I see someone’s comment in the comment bar at the right and I try to click on it, very often I will get directed to the article, but the full comment itself has not appeared there yet. Previously, all of the comments used to show pretty instantly for me. Just thought I would ask about it!

  11. This is so in sync with the dream I had last night after a very moving venus transit. Wow. Oracle wins again.

  12. wowzers.

my first thought was along the lines of how my passion (esp interpersonal, erotic passion) seems at odds with the deeper spiritual/soul/self reclamation directive i have right now. and then i remember: the directive is actually a path to passion — just from a different angle, a longer route, eventually a more solid, real expression and interaction with clear boundaries that will allow for so much more…

  13. It felt like almost a mandate for me to go to the highest point in Knoxville where astronomers set up seven telescopes of various kinds to view the Venus transit. About 50 people showed up, which I was actually surprised at for Knoxville, but many people brought their kids to take a peak. I especially enjoyed watching and listening to them about what they saw and what they actually knew about it astronomically.

The oracle today was perfect as a motivation when reflecting on what the Venus transit means personally to me. Why am I still amazed at the synchronicity of what oracle would be plucked the day after? Just let go already.

  14. what an amazing message today, after the Venus transit. Thanks Eric for your amazing words always.
