Thank you shebear! I do feel like higher powers are guiding this job search. This is the first one where I have just done the footwork without expectation regarding outcome. Generally, in the past it was too scary not to try to force something through. But it does seem like a more professional atmosphere exists at this potential job site and I would definitely benefit from that. I guess we’ll see what happens!

Wow. This goes so well with Genevieve’s Moonshine Cancer Horoscope as well as what is going on with me just now. I have just finished the first job interview I’ve had since becoming unemployed a few months ago. The process has been a bit bumpy–I got a call Friday from the lady I’d been talking to who started hinting that I might want to back out because of my lack of experience, my this, my that, whatever. How many people are dis-invited to an interview previously granted? Very odd and definitely pushed my self-esteem buttons raising a bit of pain and anguish. But I went anyway with the encouragement of loved ones, and, lo and behold, I am invited to a follow up interview where I get to shadow and potential future co-worker….So I owe the fact of this opportunity still being open to me to not reacting out of anger or spite, taking some advice, and coming around to some compassion for the woman who was put in the position of having to make that phone call in the first place. It’s amazing how topical PlanetWaves can be in these times of apparent upset. It’s topical all the time, but I definitely benefit more when I am in some kind of inner or outer struggle…
