I’ve just posted a new article in the Reality Check diary, about the Mayan calendar systems.

Green-Star-gazer:
Did you ever play with a “spirograph” as a kid? Plastic wheels that meshed, stick your pen or pencil in the wheel(s) and make circular patterns that intersect. Perhaps it’s like that. On October 28, Sun opposed Jupiter (with Earth, by definition, in-between) and transferred the motion to a bigger wheel. Sort of like the old fashioned transmission on a Model-T Ford. Also, the concurrent shift of the fixed sign T-square from Taurus-Leo-Scorpio to Aquarius-Scorpio-Leo. You did not mess up at all. You had it just right. Look for the larger wheel. That’s where the culmination took place. i’ve been looking for it myself.
Eric:
Thank you for your report. Been researching this myself. The thing that has me flummoxed is the evident accuracy of “day-keeping”. Unreal. It’s almost as if there is a form of meditation that can make the heart beat like clockwork day upon end.
Hi Eric,
I worked with a small group of women over the duration of the 9th wave calendar template as was outlined by Carl Calleman. We were quite sensitive to the emotional content of the Day/Night count and we tracked several significant events which followed the shifts between the count of days/nights. We also followed Barbara Hand-Clow’s postings on Astroflash to gain more insights into how they were seeing the correlations between the long count and the current astrology, particularly how it related to the Sibley chart. And of course, I was keeping up with all the news here in PW to see what your fabulous team of reporters came up with as we moved from March 9th to October 28th of this year.
I found it to be a very rich and sometimes startlingly accurate predictor of energy waves moving thru the collective. There was something trackable happening…which is why we were all rather surprised when the system concluded at the end of Day 7 on October 28th, 2011 with no visible shifts or events to make note of in the outer world. Things had been so “on track” during the 9th wave period that we felt sure something noticeable would happen when it reached a culmination. But nothing much was visible. In fact, since the count has ended the only shift that I can detect in my own life is a more than unusual presence of inertia in almost anything I try to accomplish. Perhaps there was more to this system that remains unknown to Calleman and this is why we do not yet feel a sense of completion, or perhaps the system did truly come to a completion we are indeed now tracking in unknown territory.
I’ll send you the information we used. It may be useful to your studies. I came to all of this rather late and never could get a deep grasp of the theory, but I did see a relationship between the emotional frequencies in my own life and what the template was outlining, in terms of days/nights, so there was “something” to this system.
You may already have it but here is the URL for Calleman’s website: http://www.calleman.com/
There is a lot of information here if you’ve not seen it already.
VERY much looking forward to your publication of R-R-R-C !!!
Happy New Year
