interesting, Oracle, over my summer ‘vacation’, I did indeed learn many more of my family’s ‘secrets’, from a surprising source, my Mom’s new hubbie, who actually knew her waay back in the day, when she was a senior in high school- freshman in college. I had some info he didn’t know and we linked puzzle pieces together, really, it just gave me more info that I already had figured out. I think I got more new info from one of my cousins, who ‘randomly’ found my online and we have been chatting about my paternal lineage side. she’s a little over ten years older so she knew some things.

in regards to religion, my Mom was a firm Atheist, and would have nothing of religion in the house.
I guess Atheism is a form of religion, yes?
probably explains why my spiritual bones didn’t formally wake up until later in life.
