Here’s the chart I got for the moment, a few moments ago, that I heard Osama bin Laden was allegedly killed. Once again we get a Moon vurry vurry void of course. (And it was still void when Obama came on TV.)
NBC news keeps telling us how psychologically uplifting this is gonna be for everyone us. Everyone has come to work late Sunday night. Brian Williams has informed us that we’re all going to remember where we were when we heard it. So don’t forget!
Seriously, is this supposed to make a difference? And people are actually celebrating this? We really had to bomb and terrorize Afghanistan — where he was not hiding — for 9-1/2 years? I think it’s ridiculous that he wasn’t taken prisoner, but rather shot on the spot. I don’t know the circumstances, but heck, this is the kind of guy you want in for questioning. But of course, not if he didn’t do it.
The FBI still has him listed as the most wanted terrorist, and the wanted poster does not (as usual) mention Sept. 11. It never has. To wit, “Usama Bin Laden is wanted in connection with the August 7, 1998, bombings of the United States Embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and Nairobi, Kenya. These attacks killed over 200 people. In addition, Bin Laden is a suspect in other terrorist attacks throughout the world.” There is a reason that the World Trade Center and Pentagon are not listed on the wanted poster — there is not enough evidence, or any evidence, that he did it. Oh, everyone knows he did it. We made two wars based on how he did it. But there’s not enough evidence to get it onto the FBI’s wanted poster?
As for this chart — does anyone have experience with Moon/vertex aspects? I am fairly new to tracking the vertex. I don’t know if under the formal rules of horary, that counts as an aspect.

Bluetreemarie, what exactly is the vertex? A body, measurement, hypothetical?
I was working through a theoretical conversation with a cat back in ’05, or so (on the old ‘community pages’), regarding the vertex. We spoke of the fated quality you mention. Our hypothesis was that it involved a destructive process, or the ego’s perceived destructive process, of self, involving people or events that have serious life altering consequences.
..That’s as far as I’ve gone with that. It’s been lingering in the background though..
It’s delineation is elusive to me.

I use the Vertex a lot for event charts and they are always something for significant events due to their fated quality (weren’t we all subconsciously waiting for this day). The Moon square Cancer Vertex in the 8th house reflects your conflicted emotions upon hearing the news of the killing of OBL and surrounding Cancer issues of home(land). security, and patriotism. Moon/Vertex touches us emotionally. Another example, the first “I love you’s” between my daughter and her first serious boyfriend, Moon/Vertex was involved with both their charts (one reason I knew he wasn’t playing her :-).
There was a major explosion nearby over summer after reports of smelling gas and the gas company not following protocol and evacuating people. At the time of the explosion Neptune was exactly opposite the Vertex. Considering what the Vertex is astronomically, an intersection of time and place, I’ve come to see it like a barometer or homing device in some cases.
In the event chart set for the time of Obama’s announcement in Washington, the Vertex was again in the 8th house but in the sign of Leo, squaring Sun and both were sesquiquadrate the lunar Node on the Asc– the fist of God. At the very least, here is the President eager to take credit for the fate of OBL, something he has long said he’s do.

I like what Pres. Obama said – that this is NOT a war on Muslims, that Obama and his ilk have mass murdered Muslims. That’s true – heartbreakingly true. I’m not suggesting that the US has clean hands, but so much of what Obama did was sanctioned by various Arab governments. At the end of the day, Obama himself was probably a pawn in a bigger game – the grab for oil, and the attempt to control both the supply and price of that particular resource.
The whole thing marks a disgraceful period in human history, and rather than lay the blame at one party or another, I would suggest looking at it as a major systemic failure, and an opportunity to change the system.
Needless to say, watching developments as they unfold – it promises to be an interesting year.

I am watching the celebrations and not feeling very well.
The cheering especially is disconcerting — and for whatever Bin Laden did to Americans, and by this I also mean what happened with the USS Cole where he actually took responsibility — this display feels barbaric.
I hope this ultimately means we get out of Iraq as planned by July of this year, and stop bombing the fuck out of Afghanistan. There’s no need to do any of that. The boogeyman is dead.

Well, maybe Obama created a way to get us out of the Bush-Cheney faux enemy thing, if what you say is so. If they kept this plan a secret for 6 weeks that would put it right around the Equinox. In Washington DC that equinox chart had 7 major planets in cardinal signs, and the asc., desc, nadir and MC were all on the Aries Point(s) as well as the Sun and Uranus. Nobody was gonna miss this event.

This is interesting…. Need more information to comment usefully but should report a few rumors which may or may not be connected…
1. Wills and Kate were going on honeymoon – continually announced in the media, leave taken etc and then suddenly they are not…
2. Apparently there’s a nuclear bomb hidden somewhere in Europe ready to be detonated if OBL was ever captured / assassinated. (wikileaks just this past week)
3. Lots of news reports are extant from as early as Dec 2001 about his death …
4. Apparently all DOD personnel were informed that the security situation had gone up a level on Sunday morning.
I’m awaiting further information but its interesting that he’s been found hiding in plain sight in Islamabad, Pakistan… If they knew since last August he was there – why now?
I’m thinking — I’m not getting excited about a guy who was blamed for the 9/11 attacks he had nothing to do with. Remember, if they were false flag, then he was merely blamed. Then he was left on the lam for a full decade to justify the ongoing war in Afghanistan; he was used as a fake way to associate Saddam Hussein with 9/11, so we could spend the next seven years and counting in Iraq. He is a former CIA agent. We’re supposed to get excited about this, or think it makes a difference?

The whole “bin Laden” phenomenon is incredulous. It reeks of one steaming heap of P.R.
This past New Moon (4/3) was also at 13 Aries 30. The one with the serpent. So it happened in a compound in Pakistan, which sounded something like Ahbadibin, sometime today. . maybe when the Moon was conjunct Mars (and Jupiter) and sextile the U.S. Mars. Or maybe earlier when the Moon would have been conjunct the U.S. Chiron! Sounds like it was the Navy Seals that done him in. Sedna would be proud.
