Midpoints & Orbs: Royal Wedding

Midpoint and Orb Table -- the Royal Wedding

This is a kind of chart I don’t use too often anymore, called the Midpoints & Orbs table. It is a listing of the aspects, with the orb of the apsect (in degrees) above. What it doesn’t tell you is whether the aspect is applying or separating; that you have to figure out another way. This shows the last aspect between the Sun and the Moon was a semi-square (45 degrees, half a square, sometimes experienced as a ‘hidden square’).

The Sun and Moon have a midpoint, which is 17 Aries 31 degrees. That can be used a number of ways — such as searched for minor planets using all of the points I usually use and ticking the option to include the first 1,000 asteroids. That creates a set of about 1,100 points. Usually, every degree of the zodiac is filled or has two or more planets in conjunction.

Here is what we find at the Sun/Moon midpoint:

Of the three, I am only familiar with Bienor, a centaur. Its name means ‘strong man’. Here is one of the other points, described in Roman mythology:

Aeternitas, from Wikipedia.

As for Dudu, The Wiki God says, “People named Alexandro, David, or Eduardo may use Dudu as a nickname.”

One more, since I knew you would ask — here are the minor points conjunct the Moon. There seem to be two of them.

Palatia is no hit in Wiki, defined merely as a main belt asteroid, (415) Palatia, seeming to be a reference to or from the world palatial. Patentia is a not hit in Wiki, not even listed as a minor planet. It is, however, (451) Patentia. It is interesting that both asteroids have the same numerals in their minor planet numbers, and many of the same letters in their names. But both are a bit obscure, aligned with the Moon, the nature of which seems to be obscure every other way as well.

Here are those points conjunct the Sun:

  1. Patti: thanks for your post. It opened a ‘new’ vision to me, and now I can’t see the event only under the pink perspective under which I was seeing it before. Fortunately or unfortunately, this might be more realistic.
    Time will tell. Perhaps.
But we live in a civilization of the image, and it’s healthy to keep this very present.

  2. Currently there’s a Moon, Jupiter, Eris, Mars conjunction in Aries @ 22 degrees trining Quaoar in Sagittarius @ 22 degrees. According to Zane Stein: “Quaoar was named for a Native American god worshipped by the Tongva people as a creation deity of the Tongva people.” and “in Tongva mythology, Quaoar sings and dances the world and other deities into existence.”

If this event, watched by 2 billion worldwide, was a pit stop on our bumpy road of evolution, that provided a time out for some of us to party and celebrate, I for one decided to savour the collective moment of joy; I needed it amid all the doom and gloom of late. I understand completely the need to rail against flagrant opulence, secrecy, abuse of power and the imperative to correct so many wrongs in our world etc (because I can rant quite readily myself about such things) but on this occasion I was grateful for a moment to collectively sing and dance – ala Tongva style! Who knows where this is leading us all?

I’ve also believe our human race has grown a lot in the thirty years since Diana and Charles’ wedding 1981 and that now we’re moving gears rapidly, even into turbo charge, thanks to Aries. We may be pleasantly surprised on several counts by the behaviour of Will and Kate in the years to come. I hold a sense of hope.

  3. @dharmk @michele I think there is a danger in assuming only the positive aspect of archetypes here. Given the world (and planetary) situation it is worth at least asking how much the royal wedding is upholding the status quo of a toxic past rather than pointing the way to a better future.

The negative aspects of the royal archetype include pride, exclusion, the unequal distribution or wealth and power, superiority, position that is inherited rather than earned, wealth that has been inherited not earned, war, waste, cruelty, privilege, being above and beyond the law, lack of democracy, dark political intrigue, bullying, deep conservatism, snobbery, lack of familiarity with every day lives of every day people, and of course secrecy.

Journalist Johann Hahri (not my all time favourite but there you go) had a real rant about this in a recent article in the Independent (http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/commentators/johann-hari/johann-hari-this-royal-frenzy-should-embarrass-us-all-2267904.html):

“Think back to the 1981 royal wedding and you realise how little we know about these people we are supposed to get moist and weepy over. While millions wept at the “fairytale wedding”, Diana was ramming her fingers down her throat, Charles was cursing that he didn’t love her, and they both stood at the aisle raging against their situation and everyone around them, while the nation cheered.”

Exactly. Look at the deep, dark, disgraceful mess that was under that happy archetype.

We don’t know these people. And we continually, foolishly confuse the physical age of the royal couple with the archetype of youthfulness and therefore evolution and a fresh start. This is a mistake. They were born into families whose sole purpose is to cling on to every last scrap of toxic tradition. These were never children, never free to think and do as they please and never free to innovate. Nor are they very likely to be. Think of the 40s throwback wedding dress – why is a pretty girl like that wearing old lady lace and her grandmother-in-law’s 1940s tiara and her husband’s dead mothers ring? Yuck.

We were taking bets in my house (in London) on whether there would be a honeymoon or whether would William bolt as soon as possible back to the safety of the Royal Air Force and his flyboy chums (wither all those rumours about William being gay or bi? – free sexuality is definitely something the royal family are not free to pursue openly, thus all the ‘scandals’ and secret assignations).

So I guess my question is, does the royal wedding really herald in a new era of light or is it just the old era wrapped up in a showy £30 million (or more) bow the staggering cost of which makes us mere mortals foolishly hopeful that if ‘they’ spent that much (of our tax money) on it something positive must come out of it for the rest of ‘us’?

  4. @ michele

We are presently going through the Kaliyug (Age of Darkness, thousands of years long) and are longing for the light again.

The Royal Wedding holds the energies of the Archetypes that represent the feeling of expansion, wealth, love and beauty that life can bring. The King (or Queen)’s Court physically represents many of the key Archetypes of the Human Psyche. (see the Tarot)

The British Crown Court is one of the last Court’s surviving into the modern world. Our challenge is to bring these archetypes – the King, Queen, Princess, Prince, Magician, Court Jester, etc – into our own lives.
Archetypes hold the energy of the Values of the Human being: Grace, Beauty, Majesty, Royalty. Other examples of Values are courage, strength, gentleness, humor, refinement etc. Values are the source of prosperity, happiness and joy.

  5. Hello Planet Wave readers.
I am back, stating as a homo androgenious woman (thank for for the latest teachings on sex, ERic :-0……….I have a response. Listened to the first 12 minutes and had to stop ….but more on that later.)

In my past energetic role here on the earth, I was totally connected to the matrix and know the mechanics of it. Mind control technology, timelines, event horizons…..and truthfully, to ad nausem, I know this stuff.

I went for the highest potential for this couple, as they have not yet been swallowed by some reptilian , grid ridden booby trap. The information I uncovered is that this wedding is linked to Wallis Simpson. the woman who Brought in a new postion for a King who gave up his title for love.

I would like to see a chart for this one and see what planets are coming in to support such a fine highest potential.

  6. Patty –
Presidents were not invited because of royal protocol – since William is neither sovereign nor the immediate heir to the throne, his wedding is not considered an official state wedding. Only state weddings require invitations to other heads of state. That’s the “official” explanation, anyway.

  7. I have thought the whole thing was about preserving the crowned heads and messaging the eminent arrival of some sort of royal god given fetus for whom the world should slaughter the fatted calves. The elected world rulers are still mere fodder for the Bilderburgs and the NWO. Amazing how all presidents end up doing exactly what the NWO wants them to do, and American media is right there slobbering all over the place for scraps. The question is, why were the presidents not included in the wedding invites? Divide and conquer is the oldest ploy in the book, but why? What is the real agenda?

  8. I am reading this as a world horoscope / New World Order chart.

For me it’s not about royalty, it’s about the world.

Also — it’s about the chart. Once I figured out that the chart was probably the result of an astrologer’s work, I became much more curious about how the whole thing worked and what was lurking in the background.

So, just another day at the office.

  9. I don’t know where else to ask this. I really don’t want to be shot down for being ridiculously naive… But I need someone to spell it out. Why the obsession with royalty? British royalty, in this case. I even live in a country where, gah, the British queen is apparently head of state. Kate is great. OK. Fine. But so what? I love all the talk about Diana and Kate and the empty chair and the amazing possibilities of this coupling. But to me it really is one coupling of so many… And who knows what other coupling, of whatever sort, might write history.

Is it because all eyes are on? What? It’s driving me crazy.

Gah. It’s finally dark. I’m going to watch a film and then go back to writing about masturbation.

But please, no disrespect intended… WHY is this so captivating?
