This week’s tornado outbreak has many events many places — but the epicenter seems to be the one yesterday in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Here is the chart for that event, and a bit from the Wikipedia page on this week’s outbreak.
A violent tornado outbreak from April 25 – 28, 2011, affected the Southern and Eastern United States, leaving catastrophic destruction in its wake, especially across the state of Alabama. The outbreak produced destructive tornadoes in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia, and affected several other areas throughout the Southern and Eastern United States. Widespread and destructive tornadoes occurred on each day of the outbreak.[3]
As of 8:05 a.m. EDT on April 29, 2011, over 300 people were reportedly killed as a result of the outbreak. However, the exact number is unknown as search and rescue efforts continue, and consequently, various sources differ on the exact count. All except five of the deaths occurred on April 27, although it is unclear whether these are included in the total number of fatalities.[1][2] 210 of the deaths occurred in the state of Alabama alone.[1] April 27 was the deadliest tornado day in the United States since the 1932 Deep South tornado outbreak of March 1932, and the deadliest tornado day since modern tornado forecasting began in the 1950s.[4] Over 300 tornadoes were reported over four days, including 211 in 16 states on April 27.[5]

At around 5:10 p.m. CDT, a very large and exceptionally destructive tornado struck Tuscaloosa, Alabama.[15] About 40 minutes later, a tornado from the same parent supercell, possibly the same tornado, struck the northern suburbs of Birmingham, Alabama. A tornado emergency was issued for both cities. A debris ball was observed by the Birmingham NEXRAD[2], indicating that the tornado was causing extreme damage. Photos from the damage path showed total devastation. According to the Alabama Emergency Management Agency at about 11:00 p.m. CDT on April 28, at least 36 people have been killed in Tuscaloosa. Search and rescue still continues in the city, so this death toll may rise further.[16]
FATE! The “V” thing is the Vertex. Fate. Unavoidable, seemingly, sextile to Chiron, Neptune and NESSUS, and sesquisiextile Uranus.. And Saturn was directing the show. Not trying to hold it back, perhaps. Looks like that to me, now that I have had time to look up the glyphs and consider. The Vertex was the breakthrough. And then Nessus. OMG.

all of the Sabians are v. charming, for the most part. esp. the N. Node – Uranus at the Aries point isn’t bad, and BML is well, it is what it is.

Saturn’s traditionally been known as the Lord of Karma. Maybe now done in by his own karma?
@ KittyJ… regarding karma… I think one of the oppositions to Transpluto is Nessus… Which, if I remember correctly, involves karma. (Weeeee… I’m learning. And clearly sun-drunk. I’m going to go clean out my closets or something and leave everyone alone. Duct tape over mouth. Now.)
There’s Saturn on the Asc opposing that big mass of people. The right side of the chart feels so chaotic and has such weight to it.
The first thing I thought when I looked at that chart was “karma, baby.” I’m a Katrina survivor, so I don’t mean that to sound callous. I know how it is for them, to go through that and serve the collective in that way. Hopefully it will be a cleansing, healing or transformative event (Saturn-Pluto again), like Katrina was.
I’m remembering George Wallace standing in the Tuscaloose Schoolhouse Door in 1963 – hateful angry self-righteous sexist racist homophobic white Protestant male authority figure, trying in vain to stand-down the Feds who were there to integrate the schools. (Saturn-Pluto.) Pretending to himself (or themselves, speaking of the generations before him) that they were “right” and superior and all-powerful, condescending to the rest of us.
Looking at the Neptune-Chiron-Moon conjunct in Pisces, 5th house – time to end the illusion and deception/self-deception. Pholus at 17 Sag, trining and squaring and sextiling all of that stuff going on in the 5th-6th-7th, and getting ready to go through the North Node-GC gateway. Pholus has always felt like “lancing the boil” to me.
7th house stellium, weighty and chaotic, straining at the reins of Saturn on the Asc – Power to the people!

Pluto squaring Venus and Saturn (T-Square?) with Sun and Moon sesquisextile ( what is that word?) Venus. Neptune is sextiling that “V” thing in the 7th house and sesquisextiling Urnaus. This last aspecting creating great instability, waitng to pop. Uranus sextile that “V” thing in the 7th house might have given the pinch to the butt. Not sure how Mercury, Mars and Jupiter get in on this act.(The Peanut Gallery? Cheering on the action?) Saturn was just not going to be able to put a lid on this baby.
BTW Eric, sometimes your site says the names of the glyphs are “at the top of the page” I never can find that. I do not know the names of the new celestial bodies and am always curious about the depth they add to the chart, if only I knew their names. Any help on this would be appreciated.

With Mars and Jupiter directly conjunct Eris, and all the other stuff in the neighborhood, I think we can look at the fetishization of women, the apple labeled “callisti”, the military-industrial complex used to prop up this concept of sacred virgin/damned slut (via the history of the 3 jehovan religions)…
when the damned slut is often just a hardworking mother trying to feed her growing family… when wearing that dress puts you at fault for what happened, when those people who are supposed to help (like cops, priests, teachers) abuse and perpetuate hurt…
think of the other asteroid goddesses that felt spurned by pluto’s inclusion in the planet family: ceres, vesta, juno, and pallas.

Venus became over-agitated surrounded by so much company then got pissed, with BML egging her on (and she probably wanted to show off for Mars – not to mention Mercury… confused as he/she is just now was probably splurting out the whip-it energy), because Transpluto (the multiplier) was making more powerful oppositions (especially with that damn moon in Pisces!!) than she was? I mean, really, Saturn is in her space slowing her down. PISSED!
So they had a grand battle, she was out-gunned or out-winded… (I mean, look at that line-up!) And kablooie. Transpluto and his formidable gang won.
(It’s a terrible thing for a lot of people… I know that. My heart is there.)
So, testing this chart for ‘radicality’ — that is, is the chart a picture of the event, and does it describe it in a reasonable way, anyone want to suggest what we see?
