New issue published: Revolution in the Aries (or is it Pisces)

Today’s subscriber issue brings the revolutionary spirit we’re seeing in the Middle East home to Madison, Wisconsin. The governor’s proposal there to strip most public unions of their collective bargaining rights has ignited diverse sectors of the community into protesting. It’s the first manifestation in the US of the Uranus-Pluto square that’s forming and juicing up popular revolts in Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, Bahrain, Libya, Iraq and Iran. Astrologically, the Sibly chart for the US and the chart for Iran’s 1979 revolution are particularly keyed in to the current transits and the Aries Point, and get a special look in this issue.

Eric also gives a quick ‘heads up’ about two hot aspects forming this month running some electricity through our creative lives: Jupiter in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn, and a Mercury-Mars-Neptune conjunction in Aquarius. You can read all the details, plus this week’s horoscopes, by purchasing this single issue here. Or, sign up for three months of weekly issues (aka ‘blueprints for your own personal revolution’) here.

  1. my astute friend andy on FB tonight:

“So much going on, protests in Wisconsin, planned parenthood and public radio under attack…I thought we figured all of this stuff out already. It is like standing in a river, if you’re not constantly moving forward you will get pushed back. There is no static.”

  2. Brendan,

You recall correctly, the Killer Bees of the Texas Senate actually went into hiding to prevent a quorum. The Lieutenant Governor, Bill Hobby, empowered state law enforcement officers to arrest state Senators.

It was an exciting thing to witness. Here is a link to a good overview of that story.

Thirty years later, and assholes like Tom Delay are still trying to re-district Texas Democrats out of existence.

  3. Kyla – I saw that bit about the state police being sent to round up the Dems of Wisconsin. What I’d like to know is under what law are the officers able to coerce the legislators into returning? What ‘crime’ have they committed that requires this police action? I recall something like this happened in another state some years ago, and nothing could be done.

And, as always, kudos to Eric for this piece.

  4. I think you’re right on that……

I just ran across this, another heartening bit of Egypt news:

    http://www.csmonitor.com/World/Middle-East/2011/0218/Egypt-revolution-unfinished-Qaradawi-tells-Tahrir-masses

“Don’t let anyone steal this revolution from you – those hypocrites who will put on a new face that suits them,” he said, speaking to at least 200,000 who gathered for Friday prayers in Tahrir Square, the epicenter of Egypt’s uprising. “The revolution isn’t over. It has just started to build Egypt … guard your revolution.”

  5. You know, I genuinely believe that all of the GOP Govs pulling this garbage never dreamed that it would come to this. NEVER. They honestly thought that the Dem loss in the ’10 midterms meant that GOP rule was solid and unchallengeable.

I don’t believe for a minute that the only protesters in WI and OH are all Dems. I think that there is some version of “buyers remorse” going on in these states on the Rep. side and now they’re seeing what they got. No HSR, no jobs, no collective bargaining rights. All gone.

This is life under Republican rule…

  6. again, thanks for mentioning the (r)Evolution in PR as well – also dear to my heart as it is the isle of enchantment to my land of enchantment. i have extended family there, also in education, who are involved in the process that’s really been happening for months now. it is truly awesome to be able to not only sense and see these connected events happening around the world now, but to be able to hear them, feel them, and for some, smell and even taste them. inside/out we grow! all love and gratitude

  7. Eric, your brilliance is showing….and for that, all I can say is thank you for what I assume are many “wee hours” devoted to connecting the dots for us.
