My favorite Planet Waves articles from 2010

I’ve been looking through the 2010 subscriber archives for my favorite articles from the year. Here are a few of them:

The Greatest Aries Point Show on Earth — this explores the cardinal grand cross we’ve been living through all year.

Let’s Get Real: Saturn in Libra — looks at the ingress of Saturn into Libra and what this says about our personal relationships.

Putting the Conserve Back Into Conservatism — why I joined the Conservative Party, and my platform to reform the party from within.

I’ll add more of my favorites from 2010 on Sunday.

  1. Getting to know yourself is crucial isn’t it and getting conscious. Jung talks about doing this asap to limit the damage and to be integrated as a person with an ego that doesn’t break down when incomprehensible things happen. A sense of a sort of destiny too (a point around which to say yes and no). I don’t have Memories dreams reflections anymore I want to say page 232 but that may be quite out. It is at the end of a chapter, the last page and a bit, a paragraph that starts ‘After the illness…’

Thanks so much Eric (tout le monde too)

  2. Hi Eric,

Just a quick response to your Saturn in Libra article. So true – we jeopardise our own happiness over and over again, don’t we? Well, I finally found my ‘gold standard’ for judging whether I want to be in a certain relationship: the Happiness Standard. That’s the only question I ask myself anymore: ‘Does this person make me HAPPY?’ And I’ve found there’s only one way to get a true answer (as opposed to “yes, but…”), and that is to stop thinking and to stop looking, and just FEEL. That’s always been hard for me – years and years of social training makes me shut my feelings down and worry about what’s ‘appropriate’ and what’s not. But I’ve finally managed it (what a year! talk about GRUELLING self-reconstruction! And of course, what was the catalyst? The thought of losing someone who really does make me happy)!

He’s married to someone and has kids, and for the last nine months we’ve struggled with our feelings, and of course, thinking about the carnage, denied them and all sorts of things, but the feelings just don’t go away – they get stronger and stronger every time we bump into each other. I’ve finally come to accept and embrace how I feel and have told him so. He’s shut down which is unsurprising, as the burden of leaving falls on him, and while I don’t know where this is going, OH WHAT A FEELING!! The release is incredible! The joy that comes from recognition and embracing this thing is unprecedented! I’m singing glories to God!

Anyway, just thought I’d share this. Thank you and the team for an incredible year, and your courageous and remarkable insights.

I’ve been asking everyone for one thing this Christmas: “wish me love for the New Year”, and I’m asking you and PW readers too – wish me love, as I wish you all love, because, as I have come to discover, LOVE is the both the mortal coil and the immortal coil, it’s the Alpha and Omega and everything in between.

Much love to you all, and the peace that comes from it,

    Indrani (being).

    xx
