My stepdaughter also shares a birthday with Julian Assange; she’s a year younger than him.
A couple of days ago, Eric mentioned Julian being born on the same day that Jim Morrison died. My husband played guitar in an anti-war protest band that opened for the Doors on their last tour. He has always been very aware that his daughter was born on the first anniversary of Jim Morrison’s death.
This discussion took place Dec. 8th, which just happened to be Jim Morrison’s birthday, same day as John Lennon’s death. Then on December 9th, Jim Morrison was posthumously pardoned for a forty year old indecent exposure conviction.
Still on the theme shared birthdays, I found out this week reading up on the passing of Elizabeth Edwards, that her birthday was the same as Julian Assange’s *and* they shared a similar spirit — one that fights for justice and truth.
Rachel Maddow and Joe Francis were born the same day.

Yeah the real O’Reilly is one poopy character all right. It depresses me that he and I share the same birthday, whaaaa. So to mentally erase that icky thought, I gaze at Colin Firth, an infinitely more appealing man (in *every* way) who shares the day as well.
