Daniele in the Coxing on the Grandmother Land. This is Daniele, Eric's model from Book of Blue -- not the Planet Waves designer/photographer. Photo by Eric, but it was really Daniele's suggestion.
I’m still enjoying scrolling past this one – everytime I take a “first glance” my focus is on the rocks (between her legs) and the “negative space” they fill looks like a woman from underneath and behind. Try it. (Danielle’s knees become the woman’s inner thighs.)
ya. don’t give me a ‘rorschach’. haha!
Oh yes, this one speaks volumes. Thx!
Cool and Refreshing on this Very Tense day!
cool water makes my toes curl too.
Gorgeous image!
And Daniele may have been inspired by more than the beauty of that angle. There is a instant during the darkest Moondark when everything rushes *down* the axis of the body. It looks, to the inner eye, not unlike this image!
The physical sensation of this moment is slightly astringent/anxious, like losing control of your bladder, but it is happening in the subtle body, so don’t break out the Depends quite yet. It’s more like a radiator flush, if you will.
I just love the way your photos resonate to these other dimensions of experience, E.
