Astrology Today: The Oracle for Saturday, June 26, 2010

Today’s Oracle takes us back to the Taurus weekly of December 24, 1999

The Oracle.

It would be difficult for either of us to predict the outcome of the encounters that now seem all but fated in your life. Whatever anyone else may say about the wisdom of your pursuits, I consider it a positive development that you have finally seen the value of taking on your role as aggressor rather than merely as one who attracts what you want. In the end, you may end up with the same thing, but in actively seeking fulfillment, you are learning to exert your will and influence on the world. More important, you are learning to take risks. But to better suit your purposes, it would be wise to pull off a bit of the divine hypocrisy of creating the illusion that what you want has really come to you.

(The Daily Oracle is a random selection from one of 10,000 Eric Francis horoscopes. New horoscopes by Eric are published weekly plus twice a month in Planet Waves Astrology News and Planet Waves Light. The Oracle itself is a divination tool available to subscribers to either of these services.)

  1. PS..didn’t want to go off about what I “see”, but maybe it’s interesting to someone out there in PWLand….

…here’s a nutshell of what I”m seein’ in this picture of multi-generational patriarchy brought to enlightenment (the cross).

I suppose since most all of the major planets are male, then, many alignments are “male”….but it seems that we’ve been seeing recently all the feminine energy that surrounds us – and with that “protection” or “different perspective” as it were, we are able to look squarely (haha) at these generations of “men” and take away something new.

Everyone I know – self included – is raising awareness about FATHER just now – but with healing and new insight.

As for Self, I’m FASCINATED that natal Pallas stands tall at the top of my chart (9 degrees tenth house Taurus) , guarding Midheaven (which is also my Dragon’s tail)…..lined up in 9th house Aries are Vesta (28), Sedna(26) , Hygiea(21) , Eris (8), Moon(8) and finally Lilith on the Aries Point.

Pallas seems to be guardian to everything in my chart, that is, she seems to be a degree or so away from actually aspecting mostly any/everything (That assessment is still mostly a visual on my part at this time).

I find it fitting to know today that she sprang from her Father Jupiter’s forehead – as he opposes her in my natal chart (He sits at 1 degree Scorpio which of course is also my IC and additionally my ‘Dragon’s Head’. This appears to be one of the few aspects Pallas actually makes.)

Well, it’s Saturday, the day of Saturn, yes? The Father who sits alone, while pairs of his male family members square or oppose him, except Pluto who momentarily had the company of the Moon.

    xo

  2. Another Amazing Oracle, fully suited to the day.

This past week has been manifest of one of my deepest long-held desires, that is, for mythology and astrology to blend and begin to made sense. Loads of it. Like WOW and all that.

Might be class #101 for most of you PWers, but I find it fascinating that we have three generations represented in this Grand Cross: Saturn sits alone opposed by one son, Jupiter and his father Uranus.

Two sons of Jupiter/Zeus sit square to them all; opposing these boys is their uncle Pluto who also has chosen to square his brothers and father.

Did I get that right? Personally I’ve got so much going on it is unbelievable.

Meanwhile the moon decided to eclipse around my Vertex (Cap Zero 5th house) which may be a “minor” kind of thing but, well, I find it sort of refreshing considering all the intense stuff going on.

Different topic: As for me; I’m going to send off $ to Chelsea to finance a month of Tuesday morning coffee for Eric – love that Tuesday audio ….. (I was trying to figure out what I could DO that felt not only do-able for me; but what would I DO in real-life, then create that in our virtual community. So, for a few Tuesdays anyway, I’ll sponsor Eric’s morning coffee. 🙂
