The Oracle.

If I were a PISCES, which I am (February 19-Mar. 20) — I would take the advice of Rob Brezsny, whose kindness blew in like a fresh shore-breeze through a secret window in the universe I did not know was there, and adopt a nickname for myself (on his advice, based on the old Chinese proverb) so that I may continue to grow and prosper, a name which is The Great Gazoo, since as a small-framed Sicilian I qualify as a little green man, since I am indeed a troublemaking/troublefixing visitor from the future popping into prehistoric times, and since, in the world of Kazoos, I am indeed a great one. 1999 will be the year of watching all things good grow in their beauty, might and light, and witnessing all things evil diminish in their power to do harm.

  2. I love Rob Breszny….. love his creative irrepressible moxie….. and love this prediction for Anytime: “the year of watching all things good grow in their beauty, might and light, and witnessing all things evil diminish in their power to do harm”

    and/but/and possibly it is my own Pluto or Chiron or somebody who never felt really satisfied with Breszny’s astrology/voice…… like dessert for the whole meal or something. Entertaining but doesn’t hold you for long. 😉 But maybe I was just too distracted by the playfulness to get the full benefit, I dunno.

  3. This is one of my few horoscopes written in a chattier, Bresznyish style. Cute, but didn’t work for me…I need to express my Chiron and Pluto, or I get nowhere….!

  4. I “found” Rob sometime along the same wavelength I “found” you, so this Oracle adds nicely to the “remembering” theme going on.

    Today I’ll adopt a suitably Piscean nickname for myself (having forgotten any previously self-asigned) and do so as I LLAL (Laugh Loud And Long) at your choice of The Great Gazoo – which somehow is very fitting to how I feel you.

  5. you know, i didn’t even notice it’s spelled with a “G” the fist time, since later you write “kazoos” not “gazoos in that horoscope. i had a totally different reading of the whole thing!
    😉

    i don’t know what a “gazoo” is, but i think you make a fantastic “kazoo.”
