Astrology Today: The Oracle for Tuesday, May 18, 2010

Today’s Oracle takes us back to the Aquarius weekly of November 21, 2003

The Oracle.

Everyone has something to contribute to the world, but few people ever have the pleasure of connecting with what that something is. You may be a little overwhelmed with the possibilities right now, but as these next few days emerge, you are likely to come to a new understanding of what you really have to offer. You may not believe the message when it arrives, and you may feel that time is going to have to bear it out. But this is not a passive process. You cannot simply wait. Mission, purpose, calling and offering your talents are all active processes that involve contact with people, experimentation and growing through periods of difficulty. Those are the real rewards.

(The Daily Oracle is a random selection from one of 10,000 Eric Francis horoscopes. New horoscopes by Eric are published weekly plus twice a month in Planet Waves Astrology News and Planet Waves Light. The Oracle itself is a divination tool available to subscribers to either of these services.)

  1. Sigh. I hereby interrupt this blog in effort of being what I am to be.

Being familiar only with the language called “English” and furthermore being American and therefore relatively uneducated by way of what we call the “public educational system”, I find that as I write I need to identify what we call female, woman etc by way of some word/s that identify female/woman as something wholly separate from that which we call male/man etc.

Help from those more literate than I?

And, a always, my post here comes with my constant companion, “wry humor”.

Give or take this seems to be the parameters of my language limitations:

    female/male
    goddess/god
    woman/man

Help me identify words that mean the devine feminine WITHOUT the use of a word that is additive to a word meaning man? I mean, after all – we all started out in the womb as women, not men. sigh.

    😉 and thanks.
    Linda
