Dear Eric,
I have been a big fan of your work for many years now.
Just like a good film, piece of theatre, photograph or any TRUE piece of art, your writing reaches many and has the potential to effect many more on a grand scale that even Jonathan Cainer or Sally Brompton haven’t reached – may never reach. You have the ability to do this because of the work that you have done already on yourself…you have been prepared to serve in TRUTH!! I love to surround myself with these kinds of works, and beings that create them, because they inspire me – especially on days when I may doubt my own inner voice and abilities. They serve as a reminder of WHO I really am and what the purpose for our being is.
I suspect that in the very near future (maybe beginning as soon as this June) those of us that are listening and creating will be given the opportunity to have our talents used to inspire and to become tangible examples of living authentically to those that are just beginning the process of waking up. My experience has shown that waking up is a practice that happens very gradually and is entirely inward – usually accomplished through suffering and awareness. IT happens to us because we have invited IT…because living in the sleepiness of the false is just too much pain to endure any longer. This process of waking is an arduous journey that will take “time”…maybe a lot of time for many. Those that are waking will need/require real examples of how to live in this new paradigm of LOVE – they will have little-to-no frame of reference for it and will seek it out in art and other forms that are available. I also suspect that these authentic forms of expression will come from seemingly obscure places such as New Paltz, NY and Austin, Texas and many others. They will not be able to come from the big markets of NY And LA because the existing egoic machines would swallow anything REAL.
So I applaud your efforts my little fish friend! I can see your TRUE potential. I can also see it bearing tremendous fruit for you in the very near future. But IT won’t come from your making it happen. When IT comes IT will come THROUGH you from your surrender…from your letting go…from your doing nothing. The big fear is that “if I do nothing, nothing will happen.” My experience has shown me that by doing nothing I allow the SOMETHING to appear and IT works me…I don’t do IT – IT does me…in a way that is completely effortless and full of joy…and dare I say passion – Just like your April horoscopes!!!
I intend to continue to promote Planet Waves in every way that is available to me here in Austin, Texas because I know the TRUTH that you are sharing and I know the benefit it can be for those that have the ears to hear and the eyes to see…and because IT is me.

Hope all is well with you and that things are going well for you with Mars station direct and the Equinox! The last week and a half really packed a punch. I love all the changes you made to planet waves – the restructuring of the website and the new audio horoscopes.
I listened to the Aries pre-view audio clip you posted this morning. I think the audio clip and tarot readings are a brilliant idea. Really fun, a little bit different than all the other options people can buy. Sad that I’m a Pisces/Aquarius so my months have already passed; but excited for Planet Waves since it seems like a really fun new horoscope option and another way for people to personally connecting with Planet Waves. Your writing is already incredibly personal, but there’s something about hearing someone’s voice that I think makes things even more personal.
I also found your last two editions – Fridays and Todays – incredibly insightful. Been meaning to comment on PW but I’ve had to hide under a rock the last few days since the Equinox kicked my butt then blew my mind with insight.The Equinox fried my systems – not sure if it’s a Piscean thing or a me thing, but from about Friday through yesterday I was an internal mess and had the weirdest most bizarre 4 day migraine I’ve ever had. Must be all that Aries energy roaring in! Then came the insight – it’s all about passion. Which I know it’s a duh, but it finally clicked.
From Friday’s edition – “Aries tends to be self-centered and lacks the balance of Libra….It seems like the people who feel the most comfortable speaking up and claiming their space are the ones who would hold others down.” Seems to be exactly what we’re seeing with this health reform bill. With the push for reforms to the health care system we are getting huge conservative backlashes and people even going out on their own to fight the bill (yet no one who opposes it is offering another other alternative idea or changes for health care). The Washington State Attorney General has joined the lawsuit against the Health Care bill without the consent of the Governor. So our governor now is taking legal action to either block him or withdrawl all state funding for his stupid lawsuit. It’s a crazed situation. And there are people (many of my friends) who are screaming that this bill is horrid and that we shouldn’t pay for this bill because they don’t need better health insurance. Because of course the world revolves around them and if they don’t need improvement to their health insurance than NO ONE out there needs improvement to health insurance, or even needs health insurance – there’s definitely alot of that self-centered, inability to empathize energy going on. I was sad to see Obama sacrifice women’s rights (getting rid of abortion groups funding) to help the bill pass, but it’s about time that we move in the direction of a better health care system and affordable health care for all.
I really loved Len’s article on Venus and Eris. I thought his idea of outsider v. insider was very interesting and seems to also echo what is going on on the larger scale – the insiders in politics v. the rest of us (who are getting the shaft so often so they can make their little power plays); the feeling that way too many Americans have the America is on the “inside”, is the “special” country and then there’s the rest of the world (the rest of the world are “outsiders”). Almost feels like there is maybe a flip going on – that Venus’ “mediating conflict” isn’t getting the job done, bringing more of a negative connotation to Venus. It’s letting people coast asleep, uncaring, unempathetic (good ol’ Venus in Aries). And that what we need right now is ball busting Eris who isn’t afraid of conflict and knows how to use it, to wake us all up and make us fight back and reclaim our country, our space and our ability to care about the whole world (giving Eris a more positive feel/connotation). I say flip since usually it seems Eris is associated with a lot of negative and Venus with wonderful things. Maybe it will take the shit hitting the fan, which is definitely is what going on now, to finally catalyze the large masses to stand up and wake up and stop mediating conflict but use it to reshape things for the better. Here’s hoping that people will wake up and start empathezing with their fellow man.
For me Eris going back and forth over my Venus in Aries seems to be a real personal message that I was having a hard time understanding and Len’s article gave me a little more insight. “Look at Eris again, it can be the new Venus.” “What Eris represents can also be a productive force guiding the evolutions of our individual personalities.” And it all seems to be happening at the same time as my Moon is getting a ton activity (the Mercury, Uranus, New Moon conjunction happened exactly sextile my 26 deg Aquarius Moon). All of this seems to be facilitating change to both my patterns/habits/internal self and my feminine side/identity/energy. That with Eris on my Venus it is bringing an evolution to my personality, particularly my feminine side and how I identify with being female, maybe bringing in a little more of that Eris spunk and ownership of who she is (I already had this, being Venus in Aries helps a lot, but it wasn’t constant. It was like I would have it for a period of time then it would slip away, then it would come back for a period of time and slip away. It was a very elusive quality to maintain.) and what she values (values – it’s happening in my 2nd house).
For Today’s edition – “providing both emotional contact and a sense of difficulty grounding any stable sense of feeling: plenty of feeling, and a challenge getting the water to soak into the Earth. Aries activity is not going to help this, because it’s so impetuous and tends to lack any sense of contemplation” This just seemed to perfectly describe the energy right now. “but there is not a sense of coalescence, excitement or discovery. We are alive in a time of discovery” I’ve notice this lack of excitement or passion about life in general in a lot of people around me. Perfect example – the age old statement, my job is a job so it doesn’t matter that it doesn’t fill me with excitement and passion and make me feel alive. I’ve heard that a TON lately. It seems that it may be tied to the overarching questions of what we desire, where do we find out passion, where does our passion inside of us come from; that the Mars retrograde has been asking. Maybe all this activity in Pisces is helping us go incredibly deep below the surface to find it, or atleast giving us this opportunity for those who are brave enough to make it. I know life has been really asking me to figure out what role passion plays in my life and in me and I discovered it’s what gives me life; it’s as important as water, food and air to breath. Passion, both for the things and people I love but also passionate people surrounding me in life, is my life blood and so much more important than I thought it was. As for the Piscean horoscope – thank you for the reminder about having trust and faith in the universe, two important things I lost about 2 years ago when life got pretty hard (just about the time as Saturn opposed my Sun). And they have been hard for me to refind again. I do waste too much energy on negative expression, not as much as I used to, but still too much. And I have noticed that it is time to expect the best and that everything will work out instead of waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Your mentioning of April 20th and Chiron changing signs in the Audio snippet you posted today really got me thinking about that day. The astrology is very personal, that’s the day Jupiter conjuncts my sun in Pisces, and Chiron will be conjuncting my Juno at zero degrees Pisces, and Neptune (28 deg Aquarius) with still be yanking the chain of my moon (26 deg Aquarius) and Venus will conjunct my Chiron in Taurus and Eris will STILL be sitting on my Venus (I’m starting to think they may just fuse together, Eris has been sitting on my Venus for so long, just maybe they will…..). And ALOT of this astrology happens in my first house. Now I just got to remember to breath…..and trust, trust in the Universe and myself.
