Mystes! You are in The Zone today! Thank you so much for the beautiful…words. i want some of what you’re drinkin’.
There are 10 gates to the world from your body: seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling, touching. The other 5 are secret until you unforget them.
Each Gate opens into an emotion. To your East is Buddha Vajrasattva. He is blue in color, his element is water, and the siddhi (power) he confers is Mirror-like Wisdom. His consort is MahaKrodha, the Great Anger. In their union, the energy of Anger dances on Mirror of Wisdom.
You would think that ‘mirror-like’ anything would be about the seeing. But the Eastern Gate is the labyrinth of listening. The ocean resounds and rehears itself, every wavelet named, loved and released.

When I met the Pisces, with his damp mirrors and blue books, it was clear he was an emanation of Vajrasattva. But like a character out of Neil Gaiman’s American Gods, there was an element of Pan folded into the profile. Ah, the Sicilian nose, and insatiable thirst for the ‘one taste’ of sexual wet! What’s a sattva to do?
Here East would meet West would meet East again, drinking its way through a mirror of stars.
Maybe Mysti will talk a bit about the watery, mirror-like wisdom of the Eastern Gate, which transforms anger into understanding. I can put it into photos; not quite up to putting it into words. Not sure she is either; I can offer you this picture.
As we reflect on Mars station direct and how to handle the energy, this is an excellent reminder that there are alternatives to anger, conflict and attempting to shout each other down. Of course those alternatives require courage and creativity.
