Well…what has proven to be the most challenging annual edition is verging on completion — at least the 12 signs of the zodiac are. Today I did total rewrites on Leo and Cancer, and posted them to the still-hidden member site. I have posted an excerpt of Cancer Confidential to the Confidential Diary; more excerpts to come. This leaves two signs. When it comes time to do the final drafts, I work backwards from Aries to Taurus, via Pisces; that is, in order of Aries, Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn, and so on, to Taurus. This is honoring the idea in the book Esoteric Astrology the soul treads the wheel in reverse. My intention is to reach my readers on the soul level, so I finish the annual going each year in that order, after doing the drafts and research in kind of random order.

The signs I did today involved the Sun and the Moon, including my own rising sign, Cancer. Tomorrow the signs involve Gemini and Mercury. I know the Taurus draft is in good shape (it’s 5,500 words and needs to be sculpted and cut). I just checked the Gemini draft and it’s pretty good, so I am guessing that I will be out of the horoscopes by tomorrow afternoon.
Each sign actually has four pages: the sign interpretation, at 4,000+ words; excerpts from the past three annual editions; a page of survey responses by Planet Waves readers of the sign in question; and a page of resources and outtakes (that is, the chart for your sign’s annual horoscope, unused material that was cut from the main interpretation, and other stuff).
There are many articles done, and many nearly done. This annual has four special sections on key life transits that are included with any purchase (even if you just buy one sign), taking the astrology in age range rather than sign. There are four of those, addressing the transits of Saturn, Chiron, Uranus and Pluto. These are fully researched and drafted, and awaiting Mr. Francis to give them a final edit; I plan to do these one a week over the next four weeks.
Our graphics editor (and videographer for the new series of YouTube videos) Alise-Marie knocked herself out today pulling together the illustrations for many of the articles.
This is a very, very unusual annual edition; a breakthrough in how to make the best use of my talents, and reach as many people with as high-quality astrology as possible for the lowest price possible. Here is the order page. I suggest that you get at least your Sun sign and rising sign — both have valuable information for you. For the best price, purchase all 12 signs with a subscription to Planet Waves. This really is the best price — and once you get into your sign you will want to read all of the signs, and this gives you all 12 for one price — plus weekly and monthly editions of Planet Waves. To find those options, go the Confidential Diary, and look at the top right side of the page.

Just to add somethig on self expression.
How much of prostitutes hating themselves and their work has in fact to do with the fact that entire Society has deemed that to be a lowly, humiliating and self-degrading act. So if someone compares their self expression to prostitution has to look for that type of conditioning imposed upon them. Someone, somewhere in their world has imposed upon them that what they are doing is not respectful and acceptable.
Thanks Eric.
What you have said is so accurate!!
“Whatever experience of life we have tends to be mediated entirely by how we feel about ourselves”. But how wonderful it is when the Cosmos brings you the opportunity to acknowledge this. 2009 brought me that opportunity. I am in total awe and reverence of the sequence of events the Cosmos has presented. Mars retrogade in Leo after the 2009 experience is so appropriate, that now it is more of a spiritual experience of self expression, having a clarity on self values and the place in the world.
Your writing always puts everything for me in an inspiring perspective.
Thanks
