Today’s Oracle takes us to the Aries weekly horoscope of Sept. 19, 2003
It is time to put yourself into the marketplace, or to retreat entirely. The halfway world is not enough; a partial commitment to either or both worlds will yield results in your success within neither. Yet you don’t have to sacrifice being an artist for being savvy in business. Life is not always a tradeoff of integrity for money; sometimes we are rewarded justly for what we contribute. You can thrive as one of the imagineers of our culture, playing the game that so few play well, and even fewer play with integrity. But you’ve reached a point where you must make a commitment, and work with a tangible definition of success.

Today’s Oracle echos a quote from Friedrich Nietzsche that I heard for the first time on Friday night, from Bono of U2 in an interview with Elvis Costello. It has been playing around in my thoughts ever since, as I struggle with my efforts to stay on track toward healthier goals.
“The essential thing ‘in heaven and earth’ is…that there should be long obedience in the same direction; there thereby results, and has always resulted in the long run, something which has made life worth living.”
I’m with you HDW — Oracle seems fateful this morning!
Just to mention that I found this first in Serennu’s Twitter Blog – the Oracle isn’t usually out so early for the day (sometimes it doesn’t appear at all!) It must be fateful!
I do indeed love this offering for the day. It portends the ‘soon to be revealed’
