If it seems that relationships are the single most challenging aspect of life, maybe that’s because all of life involves relationships. I am aware that this seems to eliminate the possibility of experiences of others staying particularly consistent or having longevity. But I would make the opposite case. To the extent that we can allow others to grow and change, we can experience them in long-term partnership. I would go so far as to say this feels like some kind of cosmic law. Some laws do make sense.
