Good morning,
|
I’ve dragged myself out of bed early on a Saturday to head for SUNY New Paltz on opening day of the dorms there. I have an assignment from The Ecologist in London to write about the psychology of why students persist in living in dormitories contaminated with PCBs and dioxin.
So before I get into blogging the Democratic National Convention and Obama’s choice of Joe Biden as his running mate, I’ll have a bit to say about what’s going on in New Paltz. It’s a weird scene there. I’ve been covering this for 16 years (yes) and it gets no less strange with each passing year.
There is a website covering my environmental writing about New Paltz and many related organochlorine issues, called Dioxin Dorms.
Catch you later, and thanks for tuning in.
