In tonight’s edition, I sort out the rapidly changing Pisces sky, as well as look at the chart for the secrecy agreement taken by the College of Cardinals. The Roman Catholic Church is set to elect its next benevolent dictator just before Mercury stations direct. And Mercury is prominent in the chart of the cardinals taking their vow of secrecy. This is quite a chart — wait till you hear about it.

Since most of my materials are at home (the chart and several links promised) some of those will appear tomorrow. OK — here are two: the Golden Age of Gaia article; the Richard Sipe article on the book Just Love.

The chart is right in the “continuation” of this page.

Here is your program in the Old Player. Note, you can download a compressed file of the program on the Old Player page, which also includes a full archive of Planet Waves FM going back to 2010. More recent programs are collected in the category listing at the top of the blog frame.

With love,
Eric Francis

  1. Obviously they’re now bringing up stories about the new Pope’s dark side. So look forward to your astrological study of this man, Eric.

  2. Pope Francis I – of course. Sorry be! Don’t know what they were on about last night on the TV news…

  3. Yes, you are so right, be. I watched a news report about this pope last night (not Francis 1, but the first pope called Francis, the journalists made a mistake), and saw footage of him addressing the enormous crowd in front of St Peter’s. Can see why he was elected, he’s an antidote to all the pomp, farce and corruption inside the Catholic church – conservative but I perceived an immense sweetness and humanity in him, as well as being tough enough to make necessary changes.

  4. Let’s see…Mars hits the Aries point along with the Moon and they both say hello to Uranus who has been warming himself in the fires of The New for awhile now. Mars and Luna show up and the party ignites! Within 24 short hours, approx. 1.2 Billion Roman Catholics (roughly 17% of entire worlds population) have a new leader who is renown for his humility plus he gives himself the name of the patron saint of animals and who’s first task as Pope will be to pray to Mother Mary for her blessings … that sends a nice message. Then we have 1.5 Billion Chinese people (roughly 19% of the worlds population) who now have a new leader… that is big though what it “means” is rather difficult to see at the moment. And all of us, we denizens of planet earth have a brand new telescope the biggest ever ( named “Soul” in Spanish – according to the BBC- costing 1.3 Billion) and it was fired up today as well.

Thatsalotta BIG new beginnings for our little planet in just 24 short hours! Over one third of the entire population of the planet have a new leader on the same day..when was the last time that happened?

  5. The seagull foretold the new pope! It is, after all, the patron saint of animal that Pope Francis is named after. May all beings be protected and safe from harm!!!

  6. May the new Pope’s choice of names be a harbinger of true change for the church. One step at a time is better than no change. I’m also struck that his birthdata: > 17 December 1936 in Buenos Aires, of Italian descent.< (from the BBC) seems to indicate a possible close linkage with the Galactic core…didn't we have that in the last Pope as well??

Looking forward to the podcast…gotta go make a bug cuppa and put my feet up for a listen! 🙂

  7. I agree paola, it is interesting to the point of awesome. A natal Mercury, faster than a speeding bullet, just so happens to be conjunct a trans. Pluto 76 years later. Perhaps his Mercury rules his 10th house, but in any case we can be sure that transformation, even resurrection will accompany his words. The bird (seagull?) atop the chimney was a symbol of spiritual influences and not just a man-made decision. It also (if it WAS a seagull) connotes a surviving of a flood, such as Noah’s, and a return to solid land. A new beginning.

The Catholic Church may not be ready to tackle women as priests or gay marriage yet but it is ready to clean up it’s act by electing this man to be Pope. His progressed Sun is around 12 Pisces and Chiron will soon conjunct it. Transiting Saturn in Scorpio and also transiting Jupiter will trine it. This along with the sextile to trans. Pluto will jumpstart the needed reforms with relative ease, considering how deeply embedded the corruption is in this establishment.

It surely was always this man’s destiny to assume this role. He was born with his Sun conjunct the north node and both of them conjunct the Galactic Core, at that time at 25 Sagittarius. Based on just this bit of astrology, the Cardinals chose well.

  8. His birth date is September 17, 1936.
Look where is his Mercury: at 11 Cap!! Trine Uranus.
The whole theme seems interesting to me.

  9. The “white smoke” Moon (16 Aries) sextiles the Catholic Church (6/7/29 – Vatican Horoscope) Sun (16 Gemini), but (wouldn’t you know it) squares the Church’s Pluto (17 Cancer).

  10. Yes, just found out, Fe. First Latin American pope too – fierce opponent of gay marriage, 76 years old (sigh sigh): (from the Guardian)
The archbishop of Buenos Aires is a Jesuit intellectual who travels by bus and has a practical approach to poverty: when he was appointed a cardinal, Bergoglio persuaded hundreds of Argentinians not to fly to Rome to celebrate with him but instead to give the money they would have spent on plane tickets to the poor. He was a fierce opponent of Argentinas decision to legalise gay marriage in 2010, arguing children need to have the right to be raised and educated by a father and a mother. He was created a cardinal by John Paul II on 21 February 2001.

  11. Yes! Habemus Papam! But they haven’t given the name yet. Will consult the Guardian ‘pontificator’ as soon as they give the news.
Thanks for your lovely comment, be.

  12. White smoke seen at 2:06 PM EDT. Moon at 16 Aries 46.
Sabian Symbol: TWO DIGNIFIED SPINSTERS SITTING IN SILENCE
Keynote: The ability to transform a natural lack of potency into poise and inner serenity.
Dane Rudhyar notes: It refers to the value of a dignified INWARD WITHDRAWAL

Awaiting the announcement of the name of the new Pope.

  13. This reading was crushing in so many ways, as you laid out the crimes of the church against the innocent. I’ve spent the week in conversation with women in various stages of healing from abuse. Thank god you also made me laugh in this report. And I am definitely heeding the slippery when wet sign, regarding some temptations. Ready for some heat and light, Aries.
