   A local email list just sent around the link to this blog post, by a man who worked at the US embassy in Libya in 1969 years ago and had the assignment to learn about Gaddafi.

   He learned little but did learn about the character of Gaddafi, and says at that time he was “strong-willed, charismatic, mercurial.” He says he believes Gaddafi will more than likely end up being killed by someone in his own inner circle before he “brings the entire country down.”

   I was glad to learn that this guy also works to train community organizers — his organization is called the Giraffe Heroes Project — “a global non profit moving people to stick their necks out for the common good and giving them the tools to succeed.”
