Name that Buick

Can anyone tell us what year and model this car is? I found it at a classic car show taking place in the parking lot of the Frozen Rainbow ice cream place and diner in Port Ewen, near Kingston. Photo by Eric.

    I checked another image from the series — the license plate frame says it’s a 1953 Skylark.

    reminds me of the novel Christine by Stephen King (but that was supposedly a 1958 red and white plymouth. i read the book about 25 years ago and I dont have it anymore to check)
