    Thanks for the link Brendan. Fe….. it seems a key nexus, doesn’t it? I mean, the whole inter-relationship between polity and the fourth estate — *that* place, is what is being morphed and remade. Or it is one of the situations undergoing this sort of retooling of structure…… how I see it anyhow. :)

    Funny you should mention that because that was something I felt. The last time this level of real-time news media synchronicity happened was when CNN was there at the start of Desert Storm and the first US invasion of Iraq.

    This is the day Al-Jazeera was “made”.

    I am wondering how a chart for the “birth” of Al Jazeera itself might illuminate this developing story…. since their reporting has been so woven in to this all along and this seems to be, in the words of a friend of mine, Al Jazeera’s moment.
