  1. Eric,

Go….visit Israel/Palestine. Your soul will never forget the experience. I have been there several times; I lost my virginity there in a hotel on the street that goes in front of Damascus Gate of the Old City. Try to stay in Arab East Jerusalem too because West Jerusalem feels too European and you cannot get that total immersion in a society so foreign to you unless you go to East Jerusalem and the Old City. I also lived in a small village in the Occupied West Bank for over five months among only Palestinians; the call to prayer and slower, quiet peacefuless of desert living was amazing.

My heart still longs for the Old City with it’s juxtapositions of religions and middle eastern culture. I was 18 the first time I visited and during every day I was soaking up the age, feelings of blood shed, weird social living, passionate culture shock, and new sexual exploits by night. What a time of discovery for me; all my religious upbringing and I felt closer to the nature and age of the place as well as the person of the Christ as opposed to the dogma I was force-fed growing up. All the while awakening sexually with a young, 17 year old passionate Arab boy. Talk about mixing sex and religion; the result was erotic and emotional for me.

If I could go back and take my family, I would because there really IS no other place like it on earth. I don’t know why it speaks to me, the Old City, like it does. The creamy colored walls, rosy under the flood lights at night, the plaintive Muslim call to Prayer five times a day, the total foreign-ness of it; the passionate music and desert spirit of the middle eastern people felt like home for me. You will never be the same if you go there because you discover the real Christ, a passionate desert person that was nothing like the white-(literally)-washed image of European sexless perfection we have today. You also discover the desert passion that Muslims feel and Jews feel and Christianity pales in comparison. These people FEEL every moment of their lives. Christ was a passionate, sexual person….you can feel that while there and you KNOW he loved and had TONS of compassion.

And no, I am not Jewish…which is why the depth of feeling I have for the place always amazes me. Depite the violence and bloodshed, its cultural strangeness, its non-western European feel, it feels like home to me. It did even before I met and experienced sex with that Palestinian boy.

Go….exprience it, feel the difference between the sterile, clean feel of Western civilization and the gritty, sexual, passionate, deep feelings of the middle eastern peoples. You will not regret going, I promise that.

  2. So, would the anti-big bang be infinite fellatio? Is sucking involved in cunninglingus? I know there’s a lot of tongue action. Maybe it’s infinite cunninglingus. Maybe it’s both…Having never given myself (2ndary to decreased ROM) or any other lucky lady(2ndary to missed opportunities) cunninglingus, I just can’t say for sure…I do know banging is not sucking although a bang can suck from time to time. I just hope that the Great Attractor is enjoying itself…I know I am!!!

  3. This edition alone is worth the price of a whole month’s subscription! Great wrap up of the week and astrology/astronomy lesson. I have been unclear about the difference between the GC and the GA. Very impressive, I kept reading and reading thinking wow, this is novel!

[only one litttle teeny tiny craw, not all “new-agers” believe that we are puppets of a lizard race from another planet. many “new-agers” are also politically and socially active, responsible and practice self-awareness.]

  4. Fe and Amanda – what you said.

Eric, thank you for emulating one quality of the Great Attractor and allowing us to see around the bend and be ahead of the curve.

  5. Thank you eric:

Thank goodness for PW blog. Where everyone else is recycling rage that’s been built into the national consciousness–on both sides of the aisle — PW does the right thing — its about you, me, us and the world we can create versus the image of a world that’s been thrust upon us.

It is up to us. The thing is, how do we prepare ourselves to assume adult roles of responsibility here for each other, our country and our planet? What is it we would like to create?

For a nation that’s been spoon-fed how it is to respond, asking that question is as loaded a gun as asking whether or not you want to live. Some people, when faced with that question, may well ask themselves if they are truly alive. What would be the difference?

Examining what we need to be saying to ourselves in response to this question is what stuns us. This place of existential paralysis is where we begin.
