Pluto, Uranus Square with Eric Francis (part 1)

Well, somebody just asked me if I have some video I could send them, so I went digging in You Tube and found a surprise. Anatoly tells me he sent me this months ago; I’m not so shocked, my inbox can get a little, I guess abundant is the word. Anyway I thought I would share this with you…it’s fun. The video was shot at some astrology conference somewhere, probably the NCGR conference in Baltimore in 2007. The director is Rick Levine, an old friend and the creator of StarIQ.com.

  1. Hi Eric. It was really nice to have met you on your prior post when I became a subscriber. Thank you. The timely ‘sacredmysteries” post is in direct alignment with what I have been experiencing and so I read the 3 part ‘born in sixties’ article. The article mentions the call to totally express who you are born to be which is my direct experience at the moment. One thing I feel intuitively, that the emerging energy is grounded and ‘knows itself’. Can it be resonating from a familiar place..like the DNA?Undoubtedly. Stranger still, I chose Vietnam as destination two months ago and came home from there changed at grass roots. Loved Vietnam! The Pl/Ur energy till now was underground, I’d nowhere to channel it except work (no partner or kids) and like all Pluto in Virgo generation I work too much. The quality of the energy has changed the last couple of months and has become selective and highly creative, a mesh of sexual energy that is earthy and whole, heightened by the Venus in Scorpio transit (am a Scorpio). The Pl/Ur natal conjuction in Virgo ’65 is on the MC with hard squares to Ven/Mars and Sat, Chiron, Ceres. I have a new faith in the universe! A quality lacking for us Chiron in Pisces gen. Welcome your input..

  2. Eric
At the mention of Pluto (1st part) you breathed in a pool of air and paused. I like the way you express that energy. Pluto & Uranus are an exact conjuction in my chart @ 17 deg Virgo.
    At your service! πŸ™‚

  3. There may be practice involved here, but you have a very high intellect to begin with, balanced by your evolvement as a human being, which is way beyond your years.

    xo

  4. no, shebear — but i wished many times (they were all such hotties)!

he was in a different band that played a number of gigs with them in the mid- late-90s. they were called yeP! & hailed from the amhearst/northampton, MA area.

  5. Thanks for posting this! I watched your 3 part video and then went on to gobble up a bunch more as this post opened a portal into Youtube with a bunch of interviews and presentations with astrologers. I’m getting the feeling that we’re lore keepers of our time in a way the prevailing default culture’s perception is too superficial to notice.

When I was doing my time as an art student at a state university it was really easy to fall prey to the notions about astrology that have been popular since the serious dissing started when the Enlightenment threw out anything that looked anything like anything the Holy Monster Church ever did, when Europe sold its soul to the machine. I guess it’s time for me to come out as an astrologer now that I’m all graduated. Rick Tarnas said something in an interview about how it’s useless to try to prove astrology in the terms of the default culture, but we can develop the same rigor of research and intellectual integrity expected of machine science. Planetwaves is certainly one publication pointing in that direction.

  6. Ah Amanda, I love the Venus rx twist! Any chance your ex’s band was Moxy Fruvous at all?

Indeed Eric, practicing a gazillion times certainly produces the goods here and I have to add, that I’m with Angie here, as my own “envy-ometer” is peaking high re. your abundant talents!!! Especially with regards to how you dedicate yourself, day in and day out, to exploring ways to express those talents out there in the world — you makes it all seem work so effortlessly, while setting a very high standard of excellence.

  7. hey shebear —

you remember correctly, though the connection to jian was through an ex-lover and his bandmates. not sure if they’re still in touch w/ jian or not, though i am still i touch with them.

strangely, that same ex also has a connection to another musician eric just made contact with in a professional context.

well now — that’s an intriguing venus rx twist!

  8. Anatoly, Gracias!!

Eric! It is so inspiring to watch you speak. Especially on a topic of an astrological phase we are gearing up to experience.

This is a medium we would love to explore with you.

Encore!! Encore!! Mas y Mas por favor… beso beso mucho beso (LOL) πŸ˜€

  9. Hey these videos are really fun Eric — informative and very captivating. They would make excellent calling cards, by virtue of your excellent communication skills and that encyclopedic brain you have resting on your shoulders.

The other day I was thinking to myself that if you could find some way to connect with a radio host — eg our own Jian Ghomeshi here in Toronto — (I’m sure I remember Amanda mentioning she had a connection to him?) and see if they’re interested in conducting an interview with you for their show. It could be a great way to get the PW message out to what I would think would be an interested audience. Perhaps submitting a video similar to this one, on the astrology of a current event piece such as the Chilean miner’s rescue or such like, thereby attracting and educating an attentive audience and getting them interested in understanding and appreciating how the placement of the planets can actually affect how they play out their daily living.
