Weekly audio motivational rant

To answer Sarah Taylor's question in the comment area below -- the tripod attachment is the gray metal thing with the loop on it. I sometimes attach the Zoom recorder -- the thing that makes all this audio possible, because it's so convenient to use, and the sound quality is so high -- onto the tripod, so I had the device around. When I'm not using the tripod, it makes the recorder (and cameras) heavier, which feels good and gives some stability, but I didn't connect it today; my tripod is at the studio. The attachment that lets you connect a camera or whatever to a (nice, heavy, made of metal) Manfrotto pistol grip tripod head, for easy on, easy off. If you're going to buy a tripod, get a heavy one -- it will save your camera or a lens some day.

Good morning. After some upload/download delays, we’re ready with your weekly audio podcast. I feel like I was waking up through the first 10 minutes but — I figured out what I was on about.

We’re in a moment of making friends with transition. Outer planets are changing signs; big planets are in aspect; everything and everyone is in transition. Many respond by hiding out or hunkering down when it’s clear that these are the most useful moments of change.

That’s what I cover in this audio — breaking out into a kind of motivational rant to help get you fired up about your potential, making it real, and the many interesting meeting places you have with the world.

  1. Eric dear,

It is that I have have this in -body experience, it happened to me in the late 60’s. It was so touching after listening to your Planet Wave FM audio program of July 21th

To know what another individual feels/experiencing,in that these inner and outer experience brings us to the understand that we are everything made of the Universe,  that has embodied all things, all times.

Blessings to you dear, dear Eric

  2. sheesh..based on the comments, i’m almost afraid to listen…

    okay, powered up now…here goes….

  3. I agree Michelle, I cannot multitask while listening to Eric’s weekly audio! I definitely have taken the cue and have learned to sit down and CHILLAX while listening….

    thanks Eric, as per usual:)

  4. Nothing like getting a motivational rant on my birthday.

Love the imagery in this piece. You have a way of making the planets and their movements so accessible. Same with using your stories to illustrate how to work with the energy.

Funny about the audio. At the beginning I was all: Can’t I just read at my leisure? Sitting still and listening seemed impossible. Now it’s become a peaceful and lovely part of my Wednesdays. And if I fool myself into thinking I can multi-task, I also realize I missed a bunch. Sit, Michele, sit. Slow down. Enjoy.

    SO… Thanks a bunch.

  5. I have really started to look forward to these Wednesday audios (is that a noun?). There’s something about listening–sitting still and paying attention–that is so different from reading and taking in information visually, which I think we’ve gotten used to doing as part of the info-bombardment such that we are no longer the good, thorough readers that we ought to be. The process of listening slows me down, and when I start to multitask, I realize I’m missing things, and so I have to rewind and pay attention. This is a lesson in itself, and one that I’m grateful for as a side-effect. Thanks for using the medium, Eric.
