There’s something about the “End of Days” quality about this shot that slapped me in the face. I couldn’t believe either it when I first saw it. I got it first through a look at a diary on Daily Kos.
We could be finding our Planetwaves grilled curry seitan dinner prizes here tonight, my friends.
Of particular concern to me when I ran into the picture was the utter lack of garlands laid at the feet of the golden calf.
Somehow, I think stone tablets are going to come falling from the 67th floor of the Metropolitan Life Building on Wall Street.

Well. True to form for ye old BibleThumpers; this is certainly a leap of faith. a) -that our economy is So Damned important that God Himself would interceed and that b) that we don’t have to interceed on our own behalf and – oh, say, Create a Plan of Action.
What’s that joke about the drowning man calling out to God for help, ignoring the man holding the life-preserver then quizzing St. Peter on why he was at the Pearly Gates?
And I wasn’t previously aware of the practice of Laying on of Hands on inanimate objects.

I can’t believe that I’m actually seeing this picture.
You know, I’m not even concerned about Moses, as Gardener suggested, but rather, I’m concerned about the LITERAL-NESS of this photo. I mean, I thought the sword tongued angel of Revelations was a metaphor…now I’m not so sure 😉
but what would Moses say about that bull?
