Mercury Storm, Trine Nessus

Most of the interesting activity today is in the form of lunar aspects — currently the Leo Moon is square Venus in Taurus, which is one of those “come love me” aspects. The thing to focus on with the Moon-Venus square is the art of receiving; some with this aspect natally are challenged in this area, and it can be perplexing to them. But we are talking about two soft energies, so it’s relatively easy to learn. Don’t let pride get in the way. The Moon then makes a simultaneous sextile to the Sun and Mars, which looks like any misunderstanding will be forgotten. Remember to tell people you love them and don’t hold back because you think they need to hear it. Meantime, Mercury is slowing to a station in the sign Cancer, ahead of the station retrograde on Sunday. When Mercury reaches such a slow daily motion, it can get extra tricky — so take things one step at a time, be extra conscious if you have contracts in your hand and try to put off major purchases for a while. If you must complete a purchase, make sure the guarantees are in order and that you have a good relationship with whomever the seller is. Yet the real beauty, the distinctive quality, of this Mercury station is the trine to Nessus in Pisces, which I brought up Friday. This is an access point into material that is difficult to admit or to talk about, and while it will hold steady for a while, it will still seem fleeting in hindsight. Make the most of it, even if the weather in there becomes a bit stormy as the weekend approaches. If you are in the role of listening, be patient and give people a chance to figure out where they’re coming from. Discussion is open below for how to do that.

Yup, this happened to me today. A misunderstanding at work just seemed to vanish completely –all was forgotten. I’m definitely feeling the “glitchy” aspect of Mercury retrograde approaching, reminding me to be just a little more conscious than usual.

  2. Absolutely. Both timely and beautiful. I get so lost in the music that I can easily forget just how connected and meaningful their lyrics are.

  3. All alone or in two’s, the ones who really Love you walk up and down outside the wall. Some hand in hand, some gathered together in bands, the bleeding hearts and artists make their stand. And when they’ve given it their all some stagger and fall, after all it’s not easy banging your heart against some mad bugger’s wall.
