It’s good that you were able to speak your truth, Donna – though I’m sorry your experience saddened you. You know, I thought about my comment a lot after I posted it, and about all the times I myself have felt jealous and perhaps not behaved so well… (or have tried very hard to hide it).
Ok, again, this is just freaky! EXACTLY what I am dealing with/playing with this morning. Thank you for the affirmation of what I know but yet still… Donna
PS. and yes, Lizzy, I long for the “true” friends. I had an experience yesterday that normally sends me into spiral. Didn’t happen this time. I spoke my truth, but yet it makes me sad.

You know, I’m beginning to realize that the real test of who ones real friends are is how they respond when one is doing well, not when one is down on ones luck (which has been all my adult life till recently). When things are going badly it makes others feel luckier, better, less insecure, more noble – when things are good (with chances of getting better) – all sorts of jealous behaviour comes out in people . I’m sure that many women (in particular) here have experienced this. This ties in with the dream I had, which Amanda interpreted so brilliantly yesterday.
