Planet Waves Daily Oracle for Friday, Sept. 19, 2014

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Gemini weekly for June 26, 2002

The idea is to think like a child and like a parent at the same time. You have both in you and there is surely enough energy to both expand and to contain yourself that you can tune into both of these qualities of growth and experiment with how they mix. I recognize that this is not an easy time given the seeming contradictions you face the outward push and the need to work within substantial restrictions that may seem to involve money but more likely involve your sense of who you are: very literally your ideas about yourself. The outward push and the outer limit are working together to shape form and temper you. If the universe has its way you will come to terms with yourself and you’ll be glad you did.

This is an ancient horoscope and by some miracle it is still relevant today. Experience the astrology as it happens, written by me weekly and twice monthly, plus your Moonshine horoscope by Len and Elizabeth. Here is how to sign up — and what you get.

  1. I quite literally had this realization yesterday (and actually sat down and wrote about it). I had formed this idea over the years that there were two sides of me (I’m a Gemini) and that one side (the butterfly – I referred to it) was always off playing, being creative and having fun. The other (I so wrongly identified with) was stuck here — being the parent and pretending to fit in in a way that was expected of me. I finally started to understand that this was wrong — that this idea was not allowing me to live with integrity. And then this morning as I started to write my ‘morning pages’ reverted back to those thoughts again. Making excuses once again that included the ‘money issues’ etc. Frustrated, I stopped writing and turned to PW hoping for some inspiration… and there it was — in the Oracle.

Thank you Eric, you are right — the ‘outer push’ and ‘outer limit’ are necessary on my journey to experience… it IS the process I need to ‘shape form and temper me’ so that I can better integrate myself.

It’s thrilling and inspiring to experience such a perfectly timed message.
