Life is long, and you can afford to wait. You can also afford to enjoy an experience in the moment and let it go, and maybe see what develops when it returns. There is a chance that this event or meeting signals an opportunity, and a chance that you’re getting a glimpse of your potential, which may arise in some other form, at another time. Remember, though, the undeniable way that opportunities are trees that grow out of the ground of possibilities. Trees don’t grow quickly, but they are alive, and they do all the better when we recognize their life. Family Focus: Make sure children have plenty of time with their closest friends this week.

(The Daily Oracle is a random selection from one of 10,000 Eric Francis horoscopes. 1. Thanks B. It’s always good to have a way to keep your fingertip on the rudder. This whole issue of the US condoning torture has been stuck in my craw for 8 years now. I spent from 1992-95 closely studying the techniques and social effects of regime-wide torture in S. America, and as a tool of social engineering, ain’t nothing quite like it.

It’s not just the individuals who suffer torture, but the entire social body where it is carried out. Guantanamo is *inside* of us. It needs to be jiggled loose and pooped out.

    (((flush!!!!)))

  2. The Bush/Cheney regime’s practices will be examined today in a senate committee meeting sponsored by Sen. Leahy. They will discuss the establishment of a commission to examine past nat’l security policies (Bush) such as condoning torture. So in response to the Oracle today, “There is a chance that this event or meeting signals an opportunity”, I am asking those who are reading this, who approve of such an undertaking, consider “signing” (via email) a petition for Sen. Leahy showing your support. That site is:

He will send you a nice email thanking you!
