Astrology Today: Oracle for Thursday, December 19, 2013

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Capricorn daily for May 4, 2006

Astrology Blog: The Oracle, Weekly Horoscopes, Monthly Horoscopes.

It may be the last thing on your mind, but a business arrangement or financial situation that’s been brewing may not only budge slightly – today, it might actually start to go at full strength. Spiritually, the added factor is that you don’t actually need to get a specific reaction and are not attached to the outcome.

This is something that responds directly to your feeling safe – and like you finally have the co-operation of two parts of your psyche that don’t usually talk. Being in accord with yourself makes it very easy for others to be in accord with you, too.

Note, The Oracle is a random selection from the Eric Francis horoscope archives. Each day we publish one entry from among the 10,000 in our database. It’s a little slice of horoscope history — but chosen by our Oracle program, which always speaks to the present moment. New horoscopes are published each Friday plus twice a month in Planet Waves subscriber edition and Planet Waves Light.

  1. What strong work you are doing, Kari. Yes, meltdowns are ways we melt the blocks to forward movement. I’ve been drawing Sekhmet repeatedly. She is authentically expressed anger and rage, and in the DGT she is the Sun, an overwhelmingly positive card (touched by the long shadow of the Tower). Where I live, the moment of the Sun changing signs in high noon. I’ll take that as a sign that more of my work will be done in the daylight, illuminated, visible and with outerworld rewards for the next segment of time.
Blessings to you on this day of longest night. May the Sun of your gifts shine ever brighter.

  2. “…is that another name for the meltdown I had around sunset?”

DivaCarla, I say yes. Three distinct times over the past couple of weeks, I went into such a supreme meltdown, I felt my heart breaking into a thousand pieces. The third time I didn’t even bother putting it back together; I figured the pieces wanted to be left where they lay — I can learn, eventually. 😉 But last night, after finally seeing things in an utterly new way, I drew the following tarot reading: 3 of Swords – Queen Swords – Page Pentacles. Visually, the queen is holding her hand out, presenting the Page’s manifestation of new life — putting the thrice-broken heart behind her. I intend to do so, as well.

Our lives are no accident. I’m so grateful for you.

  3. Hey, Strawberry! Thanks. Thing is, we don’t know what modern herb Homer was calling Moly. And if I am going to remember Homer, then I need to call the wanderer Odysseus. As for forward momentum, is that another name for the meltdown I had around sunset? All good, just pointing out something in my life I need to let go of, and that’s forward.

  4. Holy Moly! This oracle has my name all over it! Now what action do I take to activate this oracle today?

By the way, I just found out the origin of Holy Moly! Moly is the holy herb that Ulysses used to protect himself from the herbal witchery of Circe.
