Poor Naomi! She was born that way. She can’t help it and it has nothing to do with her being callous or she would have never researched and written what she did. And she ( like me ) HAD to find something positive (or I tend to want to call it all a day) in it all and that came out in her concluding words. Poor dear. She has been traumatized like the rest of us and is trying to stay sane enough to help others understand some really improtant realities of our life in the first part of this century.

as to how I am presenting another view, imagine my hands resting on either side of your head, right now, kind of above your ears, fingers pointing toward where you gaze out onto the horizon, like I’m standing behind you. then you get this really relaxed feeling, and the energy flows fr. my hands to inside your head, and I’m activating little pathways that are there, they are yours, but are not connected, or are burnt out or otherwise not operating. then I give an energy shift-presto!!
I’m thinking it’s not unlike brain reiki. that’s the visual I came up with anyway, but it’s cool to know it’s happening!! glad you like it, not sure I could ever stop. just One of those things..I can’t really control it. kind of like my Sadge mouth. but in a good way. (insert naomi klein smile here).

she, I have been reading about what you were going through idue to the recent Canadian elections and have had my own personal fellow-feelings as well about the government in CN because my daughter married a Canadian and lives in London, Ontario, Therefore, I am very happy that AT LEAST the Green Party woman made it. They were talking about her, (my dtr and s-i-l). I look at her like I look at Vermont in the US right now. Vermont is poised on going Single Payer –Health Care for All– for the state. We states outside of Vermont who have been working hard on this (in California whose houses passed it twice and it was vetoed by the governor twice, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Oregon –mainly are the states who have been exceptionally active in trying to bring this for a vote). We all feel that when one state makes it the rest will follow when the success is proven . That is how the Health Care Reform spread in Canada—by it being accepted and put into practice in one province. And once the victory was won, in Canada, they have still had to fight (and have had some recent set-backs to privatization) to keep it. The regular guy and gal are usually so out of the loop of what has gotten them to their comfy lives, and then it is (almost) lost. Again.
I am connected to many activists but there is something more here, fuller, broader-scoped, and, meeting kindred spirits is so serendipitous, So meant to be. That kind of special ness—for me keeps life sweet and interesting and worth living another day.
SIS: loved your recent thoughts and your delightful spots of humor on today’s pod cast blog. You always have your own particular angle that I have never looked from but then after you say it it is like I always saw it, just didn’t know I was seeing it-sort of. How do you do that? Never stop.

Is it really a surprise to hear this? How much more are we going to see and hear that we so desperately DON’T want to see and hear? Listening to Naomi Klein last night actually strengthened that little spark of light and hope in me that just will not go out. The Truth has not been defeated. Change must happen. But the radicalism of today must be so utterly different than almost everything that has gone before. When will we all get it that we only produce more of who and what we are? That is either terrifying, if we want to be honest about our shadows, or it is totally empowering. I’m going for the power of change in my own soul that insists on the courage of truth and peace at any price to myself. And often, that is a high price, because this kind of real peace and real tolerance does not come naturally to me. But choosing the right thing does. One by one, action by action, the choices are mine. I am happy to know I am not alone, so I can count on some multiplication of this process of transforming the core of the vibrational universe, so then the heartening of hope continues.
