Astrology Blog: The Oracle, Weekly Horoscopes, Monthly Horoscopes.

Looking within is one of the most fearsome things that a modern person can do. Yet at the moment, your chart is all about an introspective journey — an honest quest to discover who you are. Part of why we’re so discouraged to do this is because we fear that we’ll be as wrong as others have tried to make us out to be. But what really happens is that we take on the role of the accuser — and the only way to get out of that role is to actually investigate and to prove oneself innocent. While this exists as a superficial issue, we can carry around a lot of tension, self-doubt and low self-esteem. There is only one way out of this, which is to proceed inward — past your doubts, past your fears, past the layers of judgment, and into a dimension of yourself you may have never encountered. Yes, as you travel, you may see shadows — but that’s all they are.

  1. Hugging Scorpio Hugging Scorpio says:

When I was just out of high school, I started meditation and vajrasattva practice (purification mantra and meditation). I didn’t have a lot of trauma but more negative influences I wanted to purify (misogynistic father). Along the way however, I came across a number of shadows and memories, things that I did that I deeply regretted. During that time, I let out so many tears I never knew I had. In the end, I forgave myself but made a vow that I would never repeat those actions that had caused hurt or pain to others. I made peace with it and myself but it was a difficult time. I didn’t prove myself innocent, I was quite guilty. But I also recognized that I made mistakes and that there was a compassionate energy I was reaching out to for help. And that this energy was very interested in my well being.
