Monday: Venus conjoins Jupiter

Dear Friend and Reader,

If you are living in the Northern hemisphere and you look up into the sky at night you will be presented with a true work of cosmic beauty as Venus and Jupiter work their ways toward one another like two dancers across a star strewn floor. If you are not in a place where you can see it, perhaps you will notice a sense of peace that expands outwards into realms that seem almost too philosophical to be real.

When Jupiter is in a trine with Venus, Isabel Hickey recognizes this aspect as a time of intense appreciation for beauty. Courtesy and refinement are strong during this time. It seems to me that all signs point to an excellent excuse to make hot, fluid love, or, since this conjunction occurs in Capricorn, serious, mountainous love.

Now is a grand time to take stock of your situation in a practical way and pick out those little facets of life that seem to be radiating and illuminating the rest right now. Because this conjunction occurs in an Earth sign, self esteem is an issue to be considered as well as any barriers you may be feeling that could contribute to a sense of unhappiness. Are you standing in your own way? Do you feel as though you don’t deserve to be happy? If so, why?

Either way, if you are experiencing a sense of exuberance or a sense of apprehension, channel yourself a crown of horns and engage in the earthy aspect head to head. You will be rewarded!

Go and get your goat on!

Merry Met,

Genevieve
