Astrology Today: The Oracle for Monday, March 22, 2010

Today’s Oracle takes us back to the Capricorn weekly of May 31, 2004

The Oracle.

The crisis that passed recently has at least helped you sort out who is who and what is what. You may want to kick yourself for not seeing what was so obvious all along, but you can’t deny that you’ve been through a rather deep series of changes as a result of the ordeal. The best thing you can do for yourself is to figure out how not to go through it all over again, which is unlikely to happen any time soon, but this would be more than an academic exercise. The events of the recent past may have seemed predestined but they were not the product of fate. They were the product of choices, and those you make every day.

(The Daily Oracle is a random selection from one of 10,000 Eric Francis horoscopes. New horoscopes by Eric are published weekly plus twice a month in Planet Waves Astrology News and Planet Waves Light. The Oracle itself is a divination tool available to subscribers to either of these services.)

  1. Len’s post just disappeared!!

=== We will post it again later. I want to leave health reform front and center for a while this morning. Check back at about noon ET. — efc

  2. Nice one Len!!

Anything of substance that has arrived intuitively in our music culture over the last 100 years started out as Uranian/Neptunian and, unbeknowns to the unsuspecting public, Plutonic. The genesis of a performer is to agitate the ideas of a conventional, conservative traditional mainstream, and indeed threaten an assumed comfortable position!!

What I find re-assuring is that over the course of a career and 2-3 generations, even the most ardent revolutionaries like Elvis( innappropriate sexual thrusting of the hips live on Ed Sullivan), the Rolling Stones ( “we piss anywhere man”), and the Beatles ( redneck Texas really got upset about Lennon; “we’re bigger than Jesus”) are destined to become the loved-up role models of the mothers, fathers, presidents and war-mongering CEOs, as the new young hip “lets all save the world” brigade kick-off a whole new cycle!!.

Everything in art that was revolutionary is destined to become middle class and mainstream. Then the next generation flips out to a whole new orbit! A bit like the continuum of discoveries of Planets, Asteroids and other strange phenomena!!

It is the duty of each of us, particularly in these transformational times, to reach a perspective that does not become “comfortabley numb”. One that enables and empowers the next wave. Ladies, it is without doubt, your time. What I have been reading here these last few days suggests that we have upped the ante. Game on!; debate and democracy can work! Yet WORK is the operative word.

We just did a http://www.bbc.co.uk/sportrelief weekend. Donations of 30 million pounds to help projects in Africa. Malaria et al. Watching babies die is quite an achievement for the human race!! Annie Lennox live doing “Bridge over troubled Water” on solo grand piano really unleashed a whole lot of passion, fury and tears!! Now just remember folks that she got absolutely thrashed by the media 30 years ago for having orange hair!!

I do not think that any of us needs the motivation to continue. Every single one of us implicitly and instinctively knows what to do. It is in the DNA!!

Let Eris keep us all on the edge of our seats.

For, if you are not on the edge, you are most certainly taking up too much room!!

If you are struggling, really struggling, then there is no doubt that you are well placed for what we are about to recieve!! And we may yet help each other to be truly thankful!!

    PH
