We are in the season of Imbolc (or Candlemas), the traditional midwinter holiday. Its theme is fire, purification and divination — that is, gathering information from the cosmos. On this occasion, I want to start by telling you why you want to be reading my professional level service.

All well-written astrology will be of some help, though the more refined and closer to your chart and your personal experience it is the better. I began Planet Waves in 1995 writing what are usually known as Sun-sign horoscopes — along the way publishing in some of the most widely-read publications in the English-speaking world. I am the astrology writer for the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, the Harvard of the New Age.
