Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — This is a sober time in your life. This year in particular stands in strong contrast to many past years, because Saturn is in your sign and is now the dominant energy in your personal world. This is the “get a grip” quality you are likely to be feeling. There are other ways this is coming across. One is the message to simplify and clear space in your mind and your physical environment. Another is to mature into yet another stage and catch up with yourself. And finally, you are being called to materialize what may have only been a dream in past times. I am talking about the long influence of Neptune in your sign, an energy which is extraordinarily difficult to manifest or manage. It sends messages that may only seem irrelevant or like pure fantasy. Yet with the addition of Saturn, and its sorting out process plus its materializing property, you have a new ability to make substantial that which has previously only been a projection on fog. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — Years ago — like 15 of them — the great (and now late) horoscope writer Rocky Gardiner commented in a Pisces entry about the seemingly endless journey of Neptune through Aquarius (1998-2011). Well, since that ended 12 years ago, you’ve had Neptune in your birth sign, and that is another seemingly endless and largely invisible experience. It’s been so long that you don’t know much else. This is an environmental condition that keeps disappearing, and it includes the sense of being invisible or alone. However, I have found in long years working with Neptune that this is largely an illusion. It’s like a fog that you must learn to navigate and see through. That will mean making an intelligent effort, though also taking a practical approach. At times, it’s difficult to see what is bothering you, or to identify what you need. The forthcoming Full Moon in your sensitive 12th house will provide you with an interior view and a way to think about your situation. You must bring the motivation to improve your life in tangible ways. However, from the look of your chart, you have external support available that you can tap into, which means people you can work with. Stick to those with a positive outlook, and/or those who have proven to be helpful in the past. Then, raise your sail, and get about what you know must be gotten about.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — You may feel like you’re under a lot of pressure, but you’re also getting a lot done. Pisces experiences everything from a psychic and emotional perspective first. This creates a distortion when you have the sense that the walls are closing in, but really, you’re a little behind or short on cash.
The effect is Saturn in your birth sign. I suggest you work with it, because if you do, you can transform your life — slowly but dependably. Saturn is about taking on responsibility for yourself and authority over your affairs. It’s also about the wise and respectful use of time, and respect generally. Along the way, you may feel like you’re in the squeeze — like you don’t have enough, or like time is running out. Under the influence of Saturn, time must become your ally.
This will teach you to stay a step ahead of yourself, and to prioritize what must happen and what you want to happen rather than what you think you’re supposed to do. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — Your ruling planet Jupiter has taken up residence in the angle of your chart associated with ideas, written communication, commerce and community. This is Taurus, your 3rd solar house. For as airy-fairy as people think Pisces is (and many pick this up as self-image), you like your ideas practical, solid and most of all, beautiful. That the Pisces planet has arrived here suggests that you’re also the factor bringing wisdom and imagination. To put it mildly, all matters regarding the 3rd house will receive some of this nourishment — drops of Jupiter, quoting an old song.
I realize the world is not exactly handing out encouragement for people who are involved in anything so sublime as an idea, or something made by hand. Yet you have a special pass right now. Yes, you will need to maintain your focus from day to day. You will need to bring continuity to your thoughts (rather than submitting to the chaos of digital conditions). And if you can do these things, and have a touch of faith in yourself, you will blaze a path made of small, meaningful steps.

Yet there is always a translation to get your wares to the market, and to establish their worth in a commercial context. That sentence includes one of the most important themes of the coming year of Jupiter in Taurus. Too often, people confuse the challenge of making something marketable with something not having actual worth. This can be a source not just of frustration but of a real struggle with self-esteem.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — Saturn is gradually helping you get a grip on your time and on your life. Stage one of this may be the awakening to how difficult this has been, for how long. It’s been five years since Chiron left your sign, which provided you with a kind of lens or filter through which you could see and manage your affairs. It’s been difficult living without this, though now the rising tide of fantasy (Neptune) has been joined by the reality principle (Saturn). To get the maximum benefit from Saturn, work with its core elements: honoring the passage of time, respect for when things must happen, taking authority over all matters of personal business, and reminding yourself there is a line where you end and others begin. This last one may be the most significant of them all. It’s something that every Pisces I know struggles with, which is because Pisces is the delta of Venus, the ocean that refuses no river. It’s why you care enough about animals in distress to actually help them; it’s why you will open your home to someone who you know needs a refuge. These are essential healing elements in the human condition we are in, though you need to erect a fence around your garden, and make sure that your door locks work properly. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — Amidst many other changes that both you and the world will experience this month, Saturn is entering your birth sign for the first time since 1993. You will read mixed reviews about this, though I take a positive view of Saturn as the representative of the reality principle. I know this is not very popular these days, but ultimately, Saturn represents the ability to work upward from the bottom line. Its presence is an urgent answer to having lived with Neptune in your sign since 2011 — what you might call the fantasy principle. Neptune also has the effect of making you more vulnerable to outside influences, and it can cloud your perception and your judgment.
Most significantly, it often has an isolating feeling. Saturn drops a whole new lens in front of your perception of the world, and your self-concept. Allow its presence to redefine you as a serious, practical person. This is associated with both commitment, and tapping your inner authority, instead of having to rely on outer authority to keep you in place. Another part of the Saturn principle is being your own boss to the point where you have mastery over your affairs. And it will provide you with a firm boundary between yourself and all who choose to influence you in some way.
You have needed this for a while: a kind of sealant around your psychic doors and windows, and a more substantial definition of yourself that you honor. While there will be plenty of adjustments to make, those are long overdue. So, too, is a period of building and expansion — which in this world may seem to be against insurmountable odds. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — In March, Saturn enters your sign for the first time since May 21, 1993. What were the following few years like for you? At the start of any major cycle — and this qualifies — it’s a good idea to review the previous one. Meanwhile, the past three years of Saturn in Aquarius have been the consistent astrological factor of the crisis we have all lived through. So another relevant before-and-after measure would be to note what you’ve experienced between March 2020 and today. There sure was a lot happening in the world, though what of your most private and intimate inner reality? Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — Jupiter has departed your sign and entered Aries, which is the start of a new cycle for you. It’s true that these happen in a diversity of styles (such as the Capricorn New Moon now underway). Jupiter in your own sign on and off through 2022 has left you with a sense of your potential, and has filled in more cracks than you may imagine. Whatever stresses you were under, or cracks you were filling in, you fared much better thanks to Jupiter’s presence. The Aries stage of the journey, which lasts through May, is about gathering your resources, and also, recognizing what they are. You might conduct an inventory of your abilities, your natural talents and your tools of the trade. A lot gets overlooked in our world, where there is so much activity, and where there are so many material possessions that we forget we have them. Before you set out to acquire something new, check your inventory and determine whether you already have it. I would remind you that the most important thing you have is yourself.
