Astrology Notes for March 18, 2020
For most of today the Moon is crossing the sensitive region in Capricorn where the era-defining action took place at the beginning of this year. The Moon connects with Mars, Pallas, Pluto and finally Saturn, before entering Aquarius at 9:16 pm EDT (1:16 am UTC).
A lot is changing, and on a frequent basis. Many now constantly face having to rethink everything they have known. On the one hand, this is a wholly unique time to be alive. On the other, there’s a lot of weirdness and understandable anxiety.
The Moon passing through this taut region of the sky will more than likely mean tensions come to a head, for a good few people. That can also mean resolution and coming to terms with the new scenario. Either way and above all, be gentle with yourself, and with loved ones and everyone you encounter. Give yourself the space and compassion to adjust safely and at your own speed. Take care of yourself, do what you can to take care of others — and please accept help if you need it.
If Your Birthday is Wednesday, March 18 | The Day of Return
You are fortunate to be born so close to the end of the astrological year. This unusual zone of the zodiac is all about seeing both yourself and the world for what they are. Allow your true vision to transform you. Wake up every day and see the world for the new place that it is. Wake up and meet yourself as the new person who you are. The hazy, confusing dream of this world is that it never changes. If that ever seems to be the case, wake yourself up quickly.

This is a momentous time in collective history, and a turning point in your life. As the year develops, most of the movement — including Pisces’ ruling planet Jupiter, and the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction — will be pointing into Aquarius, the most sensitive and innermost angle of your chart. I also cover the retrogrades of Venus and Mars, and the forthcoming Jupiter-Pluto conjunction in your friendship sign Capricorn. Mostly, I help you orient on your profound journey, and offer guidance how to harmonize with the world at this unusual time. Get instant access to this reading.
Almanac: The Moon is in Capricorn and enters Aquarius today at 9:16 pm EDT.
The Moon occults (passes directly in front of) Mars today at 4:24 am EDT, and Pluto at 10:44 am EDT. While the Moon makes conjunctions to each body around once per month, the relative declination (celestial latitude) is usually different, so that occultations don’t happen so often. The Moon has been occulting planets in Capricorn for several months now.
