Can you address using these readings for our moon? I definitely get / understand application for the sun and rising sign, but for some reason I always struggle with the application for my moon too.
Or have I missed the plot, and no, don’t apply for moon?!
(24 Aries conj IC opp mars Libra conj MC! Hahaha! Just watched your full moon video!! =) Actually, from that video, loads aspecting my natal, not that I understand how to interpret all this action!)
I’m pretty sure I’ve read that the annuals are useful for all three-sun, moon, rising, yes? But…what? I would read through a lens of my …emotions? Or? I find it challenging to grasp that lunar application!
Also, what do you think of annual’s application to the three —sun, moon, rising—but progressed? I feel like the annuals really also connect when I read for my progressed sun & rising…!??!
Hi joAnna, thank you for your astute question. You aren’t the only one who has asked this and I know Eric will have this discussion forthcoming. If you would permit my own comment here, we can read the Moon in these readings understanding that the Moon often represents what we inherit from our family, and the environment of our early childhood. It can indicate where we tend to retract into unconscious or unexamined beliefs and behaviors. It also represents what we need to feel safe in our bodies and existence. Keeping these questions in mind as you read more about Aries and the Chiron-Eris conjunction, I imagine that this is rich material for contemplation!
Your Moon is right in aspect, right on the IC with the Chiron-Eris conjunctions! I would definitely read the Aries reading in your case and read it with the lens of Chiron-Eris providing an opportunity to become more aware of invisible beliefs and thoughts inherited from your parents and ancestors (and multiplied and distorted through the digital!). Aries on the IC is the “ground” of your being and so the Moon’s themes are reinforced and emphasized. It’s ultimately (at least in part) about a search for yourself and existential belonging through the material of your ancestral inheritance, with a lot of discernment required. I hope this helps get you started. If you aren’t Capricorn rising, you may also find that reading helpful because it speaks to Aries in the 4th house.
I love the idea of using these readings for the progressed positions. Honestly, as I’ve proofread each one, I find each one to illuminate many different facets of my being. As with last year’s, The Awakening, I’m finding them all to be indispensable in these times of transition.
Thank you for offering this level. I very much appreciate your talent and your generosity.
