“Eric is a master of applied astrology, dealing with real issues, real people, and real suffering, while engaging intelligently with the astrological tradition. This is ‘grassroots’ astrology at its best, and very elegant writing, too."
— Melanie Reinhart, Author of Chiron and the Healing Journey; Faculty member, Center for Psychological Astrology and Faculty of Astrological Studies, London.
Dear Friend and Reader:
When I was first studying astrology in the mid-1990s, I found it perfectly confusing, just like most people do. It seemed complicated and not to have a distinct voice. The charts I was looking at made no sense.
Then someone said to me, "If you like Pluto, you'll love Chiron." So I bought a book by Barbara Hand Clow. Halfway through the book, astrology popped into focus. I understood it in the same thought as Chiron, but all the other planets also woke up.
Then I started looking up my Chiron transits, and was amazed — and soon after, incorporated Chiron into my nascent work with clients. The sessions were all helpful for the client and taught me something new about how Chiron transits work. If you let it, the chart explains itself. And it does so in the context of astrology being about a healing journey.
From the outset of my own Chiron healing journey, I began writing articles about what I was learning. The early ones include my first personal discoveries, and as I deepened my understanding, I developed Chiron's themes to the present day.
We have now recovered more than 30 of my best articles, and assembled them in one place — a book called The Chironian. These articles track my growth as an astrologer, and span the most personal issues to matters affecting all of society and the planet.
I have explored the Chiron transits of every client I've worked with and studied Chiron in countless hundreds of event charts, and The Chironian covers the territory.
The whole book is easily printable (meaning, it really works) — and individual articles are printable separately.
I've chosen not to rewrite or edit the articles, but only to proofread them and leave them in their original form. This is the only collection of its kind, spanning most of the time since the discovery of Chiron, exploring many viewpoints, and teaching astrology in every article.
You don't need to commit to "reading a book" for this publication; the articles all stand alone. You've probably read some of them and others will be a discovery. Each covers one or more uses of Chiron in applied astrology — not in mythology or in theory. Chiron is about experience and this book will reveal quite a bit of what I encountered on the way to learning astrology.
Once you have a theme and a place to get a grip, it's much easier to learn astrology. The chart has to have a job, and Chiron gives it one.
The Chironian is a work in progress. It now stands at about 30 articles and 250 pages. I will keep adding my newer articles and I have several special ones planned — so your investment will provide returns beyond the ones you get from learning about yourself, studying astrology and helping clients. We will also keep you informed of free videos and classes as they become available.
You can now have the benefit of 30 years of my daily work in The Chironian.
