We have just passed the Libra Full Moon — what an adventure. Did you know that when “man walked on the Moon,” the Moon was in Libra? It was for yesterday’s presumed “launch to the Moon.”
On Friday, Venus newly in Taurus square Pluto in Aquarius. The feminine principle meets the robot! This aspect could be the basis of an episode of Star Trek: Some Other Generation.
This is a lusty and lonely aspect, like all squares, calling for action. It contains the idea of longing, which barely exists anymore. Passion is being replaced by habit. The song “Modern Love is Automatic” tells part of this story. The lyrics describe a potential future we had best avoid.
Admit what you want and you will feel better. Any event involving Pluto in Aquarius is potentially new territory, some unexpected and unfamilar contrast of energies.
On Sunday, we have Sun square Jupiter. While the Sun holds the solar system together, Jupiter rules the orbits of all of the planets and also shakes the Sun as it goes ‘round. The square is tense, and the energy demands release. The aspect describes the potential for exaggeration and calls for maintaining perspective. The world’s absurd demands for “bigger” need to be tempered. Expect a few wild ego trips; try to avoid them yourself.
On Thursday, April 9 Mercury in Pisces enters new territory and finally clears its second shadow phase after the March retrograde. The next shadow phase beings in early June. Mercury will be conjunct asteroid Pallas for a few days, opening up the fusion of intuition and strategic thinking.
The same day, Mars enters Aries, touching the personal-collective intersection Aries Point (the first degree of Aries) and the scene of the still-vibrating Saturn-Neptune conjunction from back in February. Anything entering Aries is especially potent now, and also opposes the massive galaxy M87 — more potential for distortion and exaggeration.
Mars will make many conjunctions over the next five weeks, and in a sense leading the way through the wild territory of what has become to “self” in our era. You may make discoveries that teach you something about who you are and who you are have become.

Aries (March 20-April 19) — Someone’s mysterious behavior may involve their perception or experience of you. But is it accurate? What someone says or does does not make it your fault or your doing, but your awareness counts for a lot. Unless directly provoked or manipulated, people have a choice in how they respond. And you did not ‘make anyone feel a certain way’ unless you knew or should have known that they would react. That said, you are pumping lightning right now, and there are high-voltage connection points to certain people in your environment. Rather than allowing energy to fly off of you randomly, focus on something that feels like strength or power and make a conscious connection. Eliminating the blur and the resulting concentration of vital force may knock you for a second, but stick with it and you will get the benefits.

Taurus (April 19-May 20) — Be aware that the pressure is mounting in the hidden corner of your chart known as the 12th house. That is your blind spot; it’s the place where you tend to hide your true self, and your deepest self-awareness. You can feel into this psychic space, even if you can’t see or hear what’s there. The sensation as best I can describe it is like the barometer rising in a nearby dimension, but not what you would think of as everyday waking reality. Sometimes it feels like something over-the-top happening in a hidden room of your mind, but you can only sense it vaguely. Maybe it leaks through your dreams. Maybe it slips in between the cracks of normal waking consciousness. But that room exists and you can — and in a sense must — find your way there and confront the truth of who you are.

Gemini (May 20-June 21) — Continue resisting any temptation to make your private business public, to use Instagram as therapy, or to dump your deepest secrets into the nearest large language model (such as ChatGPT). You are standing in an echo chamber where something you say can go halfway around the world before you’ve tied your shoes. And the boundary is porous; the energy flows in both directions. There should be a warning on the internet that it’s actually a portal that opens the door to other dimensions where all kinds of stuff lives. Digital space is the most significant psychic breach in the history of consciousness. You will benefit from using several kinds of boundaries and psychic envelopes. Rather than blow the doors open, place compression valves between your private space and all the ways that people have access to it. Whether someone gets in or not should be your personal choice.

Cancer (June 21-July 22) — Most of your problems come into your life through other people. You don’t invent them from whole cloth, nor are you the reckless type. Therefore, pay attention to who and what is around you now. Make a point of not taking on their worries or their concerns. Perhaps listen, but do not make their problems into your problems. This is the essential maneuver. You can be helpful; you can be empathetic and sympathetic; you can provide a sounding board. But let people own their material, even if you help them with the editing process.

Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) — You may have the feeling that everything is about to go out of control. On many levels of perception and reality, that’s actually the situation. Will it happen? You may have an influence. In your solar chart it looks like what I would call precipitous fear — like you might fall over an edge, or set something off that you cannot reverse. While that is the state of the world at the moment, you may be feeling it particularly poignantly. There are likely to be family matters involved. This would be a good time to avoid conflict and also avoid intoxicants of any kind. That means anything designed to shift consciousness (though this may be tempting) and also substances that have an ‘unintended’ effect of changing how you feel, from sugar to antibiotics. This wave will pass fairly soon, though you want to make sure you keep breathing air and don’t get a mouthful of sand. Small influences will have outsized effects.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) — It actually does help you to squish your toes in the mud, play with your dog (or any dog), visit the ducks down by the lake, or ask a tree for its opinion on an important matter. The old-school physical world is here to provide you some distractions from certain questions you’re asking about yourself and your life situations. There is an element of physicality that entirely transcends what in some ways are conceptual questions. The part that is not merely a concept pertains to money and survival. Because all actual wealth comes from the Earth, there will be good information for you coming from the earthly realm. I suggest you start with making an inventory of what you really need, as opposed to what you want.

Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) — Keep your cool as the Full Moon passes through your sign and your world on Thursday. The peak of the lunar cycle moves in strong pulses and waves, and the Moon will be reflecting all the intensity still off-gassing in your opposite sign Aries. This could be a breaking point in personal relationships. So if you don’t want them to break, then pause for a moment of self-reflection and say or do what is necessary. Then Netflix and chill. Anything you think is important is likely to be irrelevant in 48 hours or less. However, if you want to churn up a battle royale, this is the perfect time to do so. Remember that the supermassive black hole and the surrounding galaxy M87, now opposed by Neptune, is still active in your sign and in your consciousness. Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) — I would call your attention back to how you feel about where you work and what you do. I know this seems like the time to “hold fast” and not make any changes. But you are changing, and your values toward what you do are changing. The person you are and the qualities that are emerging from you cannot be contained within the restraints of ordinary work routines. You are too creative, and you have far more energy to live inside a bottle. Therefore you need an outlet for your creativity, and other spaces to express your abundant energy. The thing that few people think about, whether in work or in relationships (which this topic is also affecting) is room to grow. Not room to move on, but situations that can flex and expand with your self-discovery process. When you learn in the process of work, it ceases to be work. This is not so much about “doing what you love” as much as it is discovering something from what you do.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) — While life on the planet already seems off the hook, your solar chart describes an acceleration of events that will commence later this month. It may seem like you’re being pushed from the outside; there is a good chance that’s true. But when you engage with these factors, ask yourself whether it’s not high time that you made some real changes. Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) — The current Full Moon in Libra, the most visible public angle of your chart, will give you a kind of soaring perspective. It will lift you outside of your deep inner orientation for long enough to see what is possible. Take a good look around, and consider what is possible. You will be seeing the world in the intuitive light of the Moon — not the bright solar light we usually see things in. Libra is the reminder of how much of life is collaborative. It’s also a reminder of how fragile relationships are. And this is a heck of a Full Moon; people who don’t believe in astrology (EMTs, cops, retail workers) know the Full Moon is real and that there is going to be a little extra mojo in the air. However, the wider aspect pattern counts for a lot, and this one is complicated. Tread slowly and carefully, taking one step at a time.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) — Whatever your concept of spiritual is, it involves relationships with others. Some people can use the spiritual path to find themselves, as a kind of solitary journey. You are not one of them. You might say that your path is one of reconciliation with others. And though Aquarius is the sign of groups, consider that there is no such thing: every relationship is one-to-one. Every communication is from one person to another, no matter how many people are standing in the room. Treat the people around you as individuals and explore the common ground you share with them. Listen to what is on their mind. Find common purpose and common cause. You tend to be mentally dominant, which means that you can be more open emotionally. The people you care about will appreciate that, and you will too. As you open up you will start to notice how isolated you’ve been lately.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — The Libra Full Moon takes place in your house of shared resources, and you have plenty to offer. Remember that. And not everyone is willing to engage in an exchange, taking for granted the sweet and abundant energy that you offer. People know what you have, perhaps more than you do. Be willing to share and to exchange and not willing to be taken from. Saying no is not an act of aggression, and at no time should you feel guilty about it. Yours is the most generous sign of the 12, but that is not an obligation. Generosity is the willingness to share what you have even if you need it. You do this often. You think little of it. Populate your life with people who give with an open heart and receive your gifts with gratitude. You may not think you deserve such kindness, but you’re starting to figure out that you do.
