Charlie Kirk reading — updated charts — going with WSJ time to the second. Classical and modern versions included.

Aries (March 20-April 19) — Most people are terrified of their own power — mostly because to express this in some way will get a result. That might be the power of speech (telling the truth about something) or the power of decision (making a choice that others might not agree with, even though it’s none of their business). Before you make any decisions, it would be wise to exercise your ability to say what is on your mind. To operate in stealth, or to make decisions others are not aware of, is likely to be a misuse of the power of choice. Words alone could get the result you want, though this would entail vulnerability and self-disclosure. If you’re feeling any embarrassment or shame, the issue most likely resides within you and not within another person or a relationship.

Taurus (April 19-May 20) — Someone in your life will soon be mirroring aspects of your character. You may like them, you may not. You might admire this person or be repelled by them — but they have something to show you. They are appearing to reveal to you something about yourself. And it’s fair to say they have the role of getting you beyond a concept of yourself that has had you trapped in a limited way of thinking and being. You are right at the edge of a transformation. You are right at the point where you know you have nothing to lose by letting yourself be just a little more free with your mind, your desires and your need to explore. Digital life is narrow-minded and paranoid. But you are not on the brink of disaster. You’re on the edge of a breakthrough.

Gemini (May 20-June 21) — You may be in possession of an idea that seems to go against popular opinion or some “community standard.” That’s your invitation to explore and develop it. Running contrary is where your influence and the most fun are right now. It’s unlikely that you’re actually going against the grain — it only feels that way. The deeper lesson is that it does not matter what others think, at least much of the time, including now. What does matter is that you express yourself well and with some elegance, by your own standard rather than that of anyone else. Usually what you think others think is a projection, and you don’t usually know. Therefore, emphasize being real and doing what is meaningful to you and then noticing what result you get. Integrity is about who you are, not what others believe.

Cancer (June 21-July 22) — You have the emotional confidence to get the result that you want. Summing up everything I’ve witnessed about the human race getting anything done, the secret ingredient seems to be confidence. We think of this as swagger, but that’s often just a dramatic effect that will persuade some. Really, the word means “with fidelity.” I think of fidelity as alignment with your truth; as honesty with yourself; and with being good for your commitments. In two words: being real, in the most practical sense of that. Not being real has a way of undermining your confidence, and it’s no surprise why. It’s weakening and fragmenting. Honesty as a way of life brings the seeming pieces of your psyche together; it helps you gather your strength and proceed from a place of understanding.

Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) — You probably feel like you’re on the edge of something you don’t understand. That’s fine — understanding comes; it’s never dragged, pushed or pulled. You might find it useful to know that the word means “to stand among” rather than “to stand under.” Yet to “stand among” means leaving your familiar territory and your concepts of what is meaningful or real. You may want to actually go someplace and be there with others, and see what you learn. Visiting people and places merely for the sake of observation and experience are almost always helpful. In our virtual world, they help the mind have something tangible, visual and sensory to orient on. That could mean walking to another office, or visiting where something happened in the past or could happen in the future.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) — You’ll be running the table, or the whole casino, if you can stay out of your way and make clear decisions that you stick to. There seems to be an inner debate over whether to do what others suggest or what you know is right. This inner debate, such as it is, must be articulated, not left a morass or jumble of thought. Something like, “Bob says I should do this, and Judy says I should do that. I have thought this through from several angles and I think that my way is the best way.” That script will work out differently in reality, but the form will be similar. It’s an analysis, and a weighing and balancing. You will know when you’ve done enough of that and have arrived at a logical conclusion. Then, you take action and keep going. Yes, there is a risk involved.

Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) — Stay focused. Do not let yourself be distracted by side issues or by clueless people. Get your anger or emotionally reactive quality out of the way. Your energy is running at its all-time peak right now, and it’s up to you to focus and aim carefully. Much that you might think you’re giving up by emphasizing one goal will still be there when you arrive at your destination. So emphasize the most important elements of what you know is necessary and essential, and stick to them. You are already working from a larger vision, though you will need to reality check on a regular basis and make sure that you have perspective. That means context; it also translates to meaning. Never be afraid to ask “why am I doing this?” Or rather, ask yourself frequently.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) — It’s crucial that you watch your timing and conduct yourself in a strategic way. You may be feeling edgy and impatient. You may be feeling uncertain of who and where you are. Therefore I suggest that you not make any bold moves until after the solar eclipse on the 21st and after Mars enters your sign the next day. The combination of the eclipse, the equinox and Mars moving in your favor will seem to change everything and help you align your mind. The world will seem to be a different place, but what changed was primarily your perception. Said another way, something about your self-awareness has awakened and has called you to focus. It’s still possible to blur out, or to look in some other direction than the one that is necessary — but why would you want to?

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) — You must be willing to let go of certain details in order to attain a much larger goal. Delay, and you could miss your opportunity. So rather than solving every perceived problem, keep a list right at the front of your notebook. Then keep your mind on the big stuff, just like Sagittarius is supposed to. (Old descriptions of Sagittarius always brush off or omit your obsession with details, especially where your professional activities are concerned.) If you keep your mind on the larger goals and deadlines, you will be surprised how many have either taken care of themselves or otherwise ceased to be problems. You are positioned to head through a narrow path to your success. Keep your mind focused, make decisions consciously, and listen carefully to the trusted people in your life.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) — There exists a fine line between faith and confidence. One is more receptive; the other is more active. That line is the place you want to stay right now: the one between understanding and action; between purpose and doing. That’s where the action is for you, and where you’re being guided to some unusual accomplishment that will carry you through to the next phase of your life. This development was inevitable; it’s all about whether and how you take advantage of it. I’m here to encourage you to do one thing: set aside your insecurities. I know this is not always easy and it’s often very difficult. You have so much going for you that you don’t need to worry. If you must, get it out of the way and move on, as in onward. Nothing relaxes anxiety like involvement in what you are doing. So dive in.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) — You will have the cooperation you need, if you focus on your leadership ability. Leadership means setting an example. That means holding a space of quiet integrity; of doing the right thing without sending out a press release. People are noticing who you are and what you do. They are not likely to come forward and volunteer as much as they are likely to respond if you request their involvement. Know who is better at a behind-the-scenes task and who is more suited for facing the public. You will do some of both but you will need allies who are specifically suited to their task — and they exist. They are right with you. Also you don’t need many; it looks like three at most. Your main role is to set the goals and to keep people focused, on task and motivated with both direction and praise.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — Sunday’s eclipse of the Sun takes place in the sweet spot where relationships are consummated into partnerships, marriages and bonded pairings. It’s an alchemical zone in any chart (the line between houses 7 and 8). It’s the end of one major cycle of your development and the beginning of another. The most important thing you can do for yourself right now is to stay in balance, by which I mainly mean rest, food, sunlight and fresh air. Then, pay special attention to your communications in your relationships. Reach to people you work with and care about. Keep them oriented on your shared purpose and query them for their ideas. Yet remember at the same time that you’re living your personal dharma, and those close to you are supporting players. So accept that support graciously, remind yourself to keep your faith, and stay aligned with yourself. The rest will flow.
