Aries (March 20-April 19) — Practice a little verbal restraint over the next month during the transit of Mars in Gemini (into mid-August). This begins with a rather shocking conjunction of Mars and Uranus on July 4. I’m not suggesting you shut up, or that you possibly could. I am suggesting that you use filtration devices, such as writing, and by that I exclude on any antisocial platform, which is equivalent to a live broadcast. Mars+Uranus says slow down, rethink and rewrite — refine your idea. Restrain yourself from any verbal accusation of any kind. Sadly, writing is difficult, and so is reading. Society has reached the point where servers report customers who cannot read the word “carrot” on a restaurant menu. I assume that does not include you since you could not have read this sentence if so. Just in case, a carrot is an orange vegetable best lightly sautéed, and the word also means “work from a script,” “rethink,” “rewrite,” “moderate your speech” and don’t discuss your ideas until they are really, truly ready. Pencil and paper are highly recommended.

Taurus (April 19-May 20) — Take the long way toward any specific goal, checking the scenery and communing with the flora and fauna. You’re now under the full power of Jupiter square Chiron, a rare and short-lived aspect that has no equivalent until late 2029. That it happens once and moves on must be viewed as a portal into a new reality (if you’re interested). This is likely to involve developing a skill or talent that you have previously discovered within you. It’s said that you are never too old to learn. I’d say you are old when you stop learning; when you cease to be curious; when you are no longer interested in the mystery of the world you live in. It does not help that people young and old have plugged Mr. Know-it-All-GPT into their phones, which is a poisonous thing that reduces the majesty of existence to a simple, incorrect explanation. Gemini (May 20-June 21) — For the big 250th birthday that nobody cares about, Mars, the planet of energy, is conjunct Uranus, the planet of bold breakthrough. This happens in Gemini, so you have some direct connection to whatever this aspect represents. One might be inclined to think that we’re on the brink of a new revolution. I would love some evidence that such is true. Most people are so dazed, confused and zonked out that they have little idea where they are, what time it is, or what’s happening within them. The only revolution possible right now is one of inner awakening. I specifically do not mean mass awakening, and I have little faith that our society can be saved from itself. You can be saved from your own illusions, confusions and delusions — but only if you want. Perhaps Mars conjunct Uranus represents some motivating factor awakening within you.

Cancer (June 21-July 22) — Fear conceals power. It’s often connected with the possibility of getting a result, or of doing something real. I am certain that this odd dynamic of the ego thwarts many creative ideas, art projects and activist plans, using various disguises. The feeling is akin to writing something and then you suddenly think the NSA is spying on you because what you’re doing is so dangerous…but subtler. You might verge into some inner territory forbidden by your parents or religion; you might want to utter an inner truth about yourself and decide it’s not such a good idea. Sometimes the feeling is guilt wearing a mask of fear. And sometimes it is naked guilt. The question is, what do you do when you encounter this kind of situation? Do you stop, or keep going? Do you notice what happened, or promptly forget? Currently, all of your options are open.

Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) — Jupiter in your birth sign square Chiron in Taurus says play the long game rather than going for quick success. You have received a boost in your confidence, your influence and your image, and to many you appear like the Sun shining at noon. Chiron’s presence in your action-centered 10th place is instructing you to be meticulous and to present yourself with humility. Do not announce your power or your role; let people figure it out. The purpose of Chiron through your 10th is to focus you on your mission. Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) — Jupiter’s recent entry into Leo will take some pressure off of your anxiety situation. You might take other actions that will assist, though it’s difficult to say what. You might start with any external influence that riles you up or distracts you from your personal truth. That would include 100% of mainstream media, and 99% of social media (the remaining one percent being direct messages from blood relatives). It’s not for nothing that we live in an age of nonstop sublime terror. Humans were not designed to be plugged into the telepathic electrical grid 24/7/365, and that is a big source of any overactive emotions you may be feeling. Most people make no attempt whatsoever at digital hygiene. It is every bit as important as food and water. I suggest doing experiments where you leave your phone at home and notice how you feel. You will learn something immediately.

Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) — The Sun’s journey through the sign Cancer, your 10th place, is saying get down to business and don’t be distracted by people who deceive themselves. Such individuals are your main liability right now. You know who some of them are. They may also show up as some form of “the public,” or a form of a public. Be aware of this situation in any conversation that involves an audience, even a social platform like Instagram. The chances are you don’t actually need this kind of leakage into the public realm, and meantime, you have real responsibilities to take care of. The Sun is now square Saturn, and under this scenario it is likely you could get roped into doing the work of others when you have plenty of your own to do. So keep a clear line between what is yours and what is not, and stick to the people who show up on time ready for whatever needs to be done.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) — Mars and Uranus in Gemini are gunning for fast results and confident decisions. Do your best to forget that impulse and let the peak energy pass. You need a different approach at this time, which is gradually luring yourself into more daring ideas and situations. An important focus is Chiron in Taurus, your 5th solar house. Chiron wants experience and the 5th is all about experience, so the effect is redoubled. That means new and different ways of engaging with the world, and to the greatest extent possible, new places. Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) — Something is compelling you to slow down and think deeply. This is true even though two planets of speed are moving through Gemini and about to form a conjunction that feels like an electrical fire. Resist any temptation to be reckless and proceed meticulously. Let other people have their fun with fireworks. You might be tempted to make fast, bold decisions with all this Gemini zapping the Earth from the astral realms. What I suggest is that you feel through your way to self-leadership rather than thinking. The body is slower than the mind; feeling takes longer to register as real than does thinking — which then flees in hit-and-run style. Orient on what is necessary first, what feels right second, and what you want, last of all. There is a method to being true to yourself, and this method is what you want to master.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — Keep cool as Mars enters Gemini and makes a series of fancy moves. These include bending the lunar nodes and then forming a conjunction to both Uranus and Sedna. We could draw a diversity of observations from this alignment, though first, you will need to slow down under the influence of two planets associated with fast, aggressive developments. Watch the show with a little distance and don’t feel pressured to make decisions. After the holiday weekend everything will be different. What this setup is saying distinctly is to consider the proper place and role of technology in your home, especially if you have a home office. Consider the whole environment and how you feel within it. Are you actually comfortable within the technical setup you live with? Is it skimpy, adequate or excellent? Is it organized properly?
