DO NOT MISS THE NEW STARCAST
The chances are, you are doing a lot better. You also have the potential to take things up a few notches. You have options open, including the ability and the potential to take much better care of yourself.
Aries (March 20-April 19) — It’s rare that people recognize their blessings, though I suggest you take the time to size up how good your life is, and how protected you are. I say this at the risk of knowing there must be an Aries out there who is doing terribly right now, and who would resent such a statement. However, even if you are experiencing some social conflict or scarcity, consider your life in the context of everyone else on the planet, and all the places where things are going very, very badly. The chances are, you are doing a lot better. You also have the potential to take things up a few notches. You have options open, including the ability and the potential to take much better care of yourself. You have work to do. You have healing personal projects that are making a difference in your life, and very likely in the lives of others. And each day, you wake up with the freedom to choose to express yourself honestly: to actually be who you are. Take this time in both personal and collective history to consider what it means to be doing well. Can you take care of your basic needs? Do you have something to do that engages you? Can you feel a sense of your own potential? Do you have any sense that tomorrow might be a better day? Then you’re doing fantastic. The upcoming conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune in your 12th solar house, Pisces, describes a condition of protection and of blessing. Yet you must be open to receive what is being offered. This means waking up each day, accepting the gifts that are offered to you, and holding yourself worthy of them. This works better as a conscious strategy than as a hope, a dream, or an accident.
You are the reminder of the idea that people are here to help one another, not compete with one another. You are the bridge between viewpoints. You are the teacher of calm civility. You are the one offering the Dharma.
Taurus (April 19-May 20) — If you don’t try to impress anyone, you will be truly impressive. This means disengaging from care about your image, how you are perceived, or whether people love you. That’s not what it’s about — any of it, including your role on the planet at this time. Rather, with your ruling planet Venus joining the Jupiter conjunct Neptune festivities in Pisces, you are more like the keeper of the positive vibe. You are the reminder of the idea that people are here to help one another, not compete with one another. You are the bridge between viewpoints. You are the teacher of calm civility. You are the one offering the Dharma. If you don’t like any or all of those roles, you can always go down the contentious, political route of every man for himself, and the individual against the collective. There are really just two choices for how to conduct yourself; two options for how to perceive your function as a member of the human race. It is true that many Taureans need to learn how to see beyond their own individual needs, and spend a lifetime doing so. There are some to whom it only seems sensible to say yes to themselves, and no to everyone else. Yet this gets old and brittle. While it is not really tiring to the everlasting, all-patient soul, it is exhausting to the personality that wants to live the soul’s purpose, or is in any way committed to doing so. You are a person of profound spiritual resources, which are coming to fruition in this era of your life. You do not have these for yourself alone. You are in possession of your gift to share it generally. You are being invited to participate in the evolution of humanity and the planet. What you do is, of course, your choice, though I would propose that the more you offer, the more you will realize you have.
In the Western world, what we call profession is important because it means an investment of time, energy and other resources. Pisces, the location of the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction, is your 10th house of achievement and reputation. Yet this is not about what you’re known for.
Gemini (May 20-June 21) — Your highest calling is to establish yourself in a professional role that benefits others. The idea is to connect what you do with most of your time to what you want or need to do the most. In the Western world, what we call profession is important because it means an investment of time, energy and other resources. Pisces, the location of the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction, is your 10th house of achievement and reputation. Yet this is not about what you’re known for. And to the extent that there is a leadership calling — a matter of the 10th for sure — it is not an external thing, nor is it connected to anything that is visible. This message is emanating from so deep within you that you may even miss the message. It’s also likely to be wrapped in a diversity of doubts, some fear, and what you might call an element of deniability. So if it turns out you’re experiencing any of those feelings, take that as a clue that you’re on the right track. The road to planetary service is not always paved in gold, or for that matter, in smooth concrete or even a well-marked trail. Rather, the way to your true calling can involve making it through the swamps and weeds of inner conflict. The challenge you may face is embodiment: coming out of concept mode, aspirational mode, and digital mode, and physically doing what you are called to do, and what you know is necessary. I cannot emphasize this enough: your astrology is calling for actual, tangible, material acts. There can be quite a process of translation from dream to what you must do to make the dream real, and in effect, to test your calling, and to test your personal commitment — which is felt on the heart-level, but demonstrated physically. Let yourself begin — and persist.
Plans are specific, and vision is more general. You don’t necessarily know how you’re going to reach that space that you see; to get there, it will be helpful if you live with what seems to be missing information. Said another way, an element of faith is involved, both in yourself and in the larger plan that is guiding you and summoning you into the future.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) — Now is the time to consider your long-range plans, or rather, to allow yourself to have a vision for the rest of your life. Perhaps it’s enough that you accept that there is a future, and that it includes you. We live in despondent times; you cannot afford to fall for that trap, or to play along with the plan that is alienating so many from their involvement in their own life. The message coming from society for the past two years is: “forget it, what you want is irrelevant, and you’ll never get it anyway.” I do not agree. The masters of the economy, or of society, are not the masters of natural law, nor are they the Lords of Karma. In fact, they are subject to natural law and the Law of Karma, just like you and I — no matter what their press release says. To the extent that some human or invading entity seems to determine reality, this is largely a matter of what they convince people to believe. Therefore, be extremely careful with what you accept into your mind; and with the concept of belief, which is sketchy enough as it is. Belief cannot determine reality, but it can certainly determine your personal reality, because you are subject to what you accept as true. Keep an eye on that — particularly when considering matters of your own destiny.
What may surprise you is how accommodating others are when you state your desires. Make sure you include the ones you don’t really talk about, or the one you’re most likely to hold back. An extraordinarily rare cosmic setup is providing you with protection, abundance and flexibility in your relationships.
Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) — You can work out any arrangement with anyone in your life — provided that it’s what you really want. What others want is important, and so too is what they have to offer. Though within your own life, your first point of orientation must be yourself. I know this is not natural for everyone, and it’s awkward for others. For example, it takes practice to state a desire or intention without being demanding. Then there are plenty of people who are only capable of serving their own wants and needs, with no regard for anyone else. They give ‘taking care of yourself’ a bad reputation, just like narcissistic people make ‘self-esteem’ seem unappealing (which is odd, given how little they have). That said, your existence is indeed that, and you have to start somewhere. What may surprise you is how accommodating others are when you state your desires. Make sure you include the ones you don’t really talk about, or the one you’re most likely to hold back. An extraordinarily rare cosmic setup is providing you with protection, abundance and flexibility in your relationships. Yet you will never know unless you explore. That means exploring your personal truth, which is your bottom line, and then articulating it. All in all, this is likely to be an important exercise for you — spiritually and emotionally. Despite the material abundance of our society, most of us live with spiritual, emotional and sexual paucity that is difficult to name or even recognize. The concept of ‘one’s dreams’ is usually lodged on the material level, related to ‘one’s things’. You probably want the time and space to pursue your own dreams, without sacrificing your relationships. If that is true, you might start there. You do not need permission, and when the universe is listening, actions speak louder than words.

For many years, Neptune has been opposite your Sun, or your rising sign. This can create a convincing illusion that people are unavailable, out of reach, or nonexistent. With the assault on all things social the past few years, this has likely been exaggerated. Now Jupiter is making it’s one and only alignment to Neptune in Pisces — until the late 22nd century.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) — The sense of isolation you’ve been experiencing is like a leaf blower running outside your house: you might not notice it until it stops. Then there is the relief of silence, and your senses are returned to your full possession. This is happening in your house of relationships (your 7th), which is also your ‘zone of projection’. The illusion is that much of what you see in the 7th comes from your own consciousness. One of the more startling lines from A Course in Miracles is that, “projection makes perception.” The suggestion here is to be conscious of what you think and feel, particularly as you may ascribe it to others. I suggest you consider your expectations in your relationships, and note which of these are bred by your past conditioning. The pairing of Jupiter and Neptune is encouraging you to consider the role of denial and that of sacrifice. Though it does not always feel this way, much of what passes for reality is a canvas that you paint. And one of the ways you do that is by noticing what is so, along with choosing what works for you. And though for quite some time, the world and its people have seemed distant, they are likely to be feeling a lot closer now. When there is low-hanging fruit, you’re being invited to reach for it. What you absorb into your body and soul will change you, so as you experience others, remember to be flexible.
Depending on your circumstances, this is easier said than done. However, it’s good to know about this connection, because when you’re feeling physically out of sorts, you may be able to address this most easily through addressing emotional disturbances.
Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) — Yours may be the sign where the emotional-physical connection is the closest. Said another way, your physical experience proceeds rapidly from the emotional level to biological sensations in your body. Said another way, if you don’t feel good, you can get sick, so the objective is to feel good. Depending on your circumstances, this is easier said than done. However, it’s good to know about this connection, because when you’re feeling physically out of sorts, you may be able to address this most easily through addressing emotional disturbances. You’re also extremely sensitive to your work environment, which must support your whole being rather than just provide a decent computer monitor. You now have an expanded, unusual opportunity to improve your wellbeing by making adjustments to where you work, how you feel about where you work, and how you feel generally. There are obvious things you’ve been missing, and these are likely to pop into focus once you are willing to actually pay attention to your environment. You may decide to make some major changes: whatever it takes to reduce your stress level, work in a room with natural light, and have some plants around you providing fresh air and good vibes. Be bold about this. You need to act on your own best interests where your health is concerned. Maybe only an astrologer could see how crucial your work environment is to your health and sanity. I would add one other thing, without giving medical advice: you are an excellent candidate for subtle modes of medicine, rather than chemical solutions. This is sometimes called holistic medicine, to which you’re likely to be more responsive than most people you know: for instance, homeopathy, chiropractic, massage therapy, and others. And it’s worth remembering that there is no substitute for fresh air, clean water and work you love.
Even if you have a taste for some of that, I would propose that your true fulfillment comes from all that is introspective, sensory and sensuous. If you want to do these things and find yourself continually distracted, you have a clue what is going on: they are fragile under any circumstances, and particularly so in a world that does not truly honor anything that is subtle.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) — Yours is a fixed sign, though given its location in your solar chart, all things (and potentially people) related to the sign Pisces are about the way your express your flexibility. They are also the aspects of life most easily toasted to a crisp by stress, time pressure, work ethic and associated responsibilities. They all relate to personal expression of some kind, and the seeking of pleasure: for you, that means everything from making music to painting to creative writing. I am describing the 5th house, or what you find four signs from your own. Others may express this house in more aggressive ways: through physical sports competition, gambling, or dare-devil stuff like bungee jumping. One of these aspects of life is relating sexually. Normally, you would not need to remind a Scorpio of such a thing, though there is nothing normal about our moment. There is quite a lot that is distracting from sincere emotional contact between physical humans. You now get a moment to stretch into places you may have neglected or sacrificed for a seemingly more important purpose. The possibilities are wide open; you will need to reach and stretch and explore as a conscious choice. You won’t be pushed into anything, which means that if you don’t take action, very little is likely to happen. Yet if you make the first move, and keep doing so every day for a while, you will feel better.
The epic conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune takes place in your solar 4th house, Pisces, which has several connotations, all circling the topic of security. Or perhaps under the influence of Neptune, we might say sly insecurity, and a sensation of something akin to how oil and water do not mix.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) — What and where is home? This has been a restless concept for you in recent years — where home is physically, how you feel there, whether you have one, and ultimately whether it’s about who or where. The epic conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune takes place in your solar 4th house, Pisces, which has several connotations, all circling the topic of security. Or perhaps under the influence of Neptune, we might say sly insecurity, and a sensation of something akin to how oil and water do not mix. They might fit in the same bottle, and you can shake them up, though is that really about a true sense of belonging? This extends beyond your four walls to your sense of place and purpose on the planet itself. This whole topic is about a phase of your life, which dates back to around April 2011, when Neptune’s transit of Pisces began, and continues to the present day. It’s difficult enough to have Pisces involved with the 4th house of your four walls. It is a spiritual matter: no thing or structure can result in a sensation of being grounded. The assurance must come from a deep source, and a cosmic orientation. Sagittarius often gets props for being the most philosophical and even mystical sign, and to the extent that is true, it involves your “grounding” being invested in another ethereal sign, the last sign. Your only true safety, your only true belonging, is in your faith. Yet this has a tangible and practical dimension: your actual place in the world must have the feeling and the direct experience of opportunity. For example, the qualities of the rooms serving your needs; quality of work you do when you’re there; the community; or how you feel. Wherever and with whomever, the real you must have the freedom to take root.
Be clear with yourself about your wants and your needs. Invest some time into this project, as there is none more important. I understand that mind, emotion and spirit should be among the most flexible properties of existence, though they seem to be among the most dense, opaque and even intractable.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) — The power of manifestation through the mind and the soul is a real thing. I have seen it work and you have seen it work. The frustrating part is what seems to be its inconsistency: it works sometimes, and not others. That might lead you to consider that something else, like luck, or fate, is at the wheel. I don’t have any answers here, though I can tell you that your mental, emotional and spiritual posture over the next few weeks are going to help set the way for developments in your life over many years to come. Therefore, maintain a positive frame of reference as best you can, and focus your priorities in a coherent way: for example, in writing, on actual paper. By priorities, I mean your top three most important agenda items as relates to your entire existence. I don’t mean your plans per se, but the values that would guide your plans. Be clear with yourself about your wants and your needs. Invest some time into this project, as there is none more important. I understand that mind, emotion and spirit should be among the most flexible properties of existence, though they seem to be among the most dense, opaque and even intractable. So go in through the portal that you can, which is aligning your mental clarity with what you know on a deeper level. With Pisces involved in your house of cognition and ideas, you are too accustomed to vague concepts and intangible intentions. Once you invest yourself in this process, you might discover how unclear you’ve been — which is to say, how clear you can become. You have genuine cosmic support in this effort, though I will say this: due to the involvement of Mars, strive to take it slowly and carefully. Mars says go fast, but one cannot meditate rapidly.
That nobody seems to be calling this out is typical; for most people, there is no such thing as a ‘core spiritual issue’. But then it is fair to wonder if digital could possibly be one: what has Netflix got to do with your personal evolution? What about Facebook changing its name to Meta?
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) — Digital technology and many concepts and experiences related to it have become the core spiritual issue of our day. That nobody seems to be calling this out is typical; for most people, there is no such thing as a ‘core spiritual issue’. But then it is fair to wonder if digital could possibly be one: what has Netflix got to do with your personal evolution? What about Facebook changing its name to Meta? How could this be personal? What about using your phone for everything? Those, and about a hundred other ‘what abouts’, add up to the way that humanity and each individual person has been transformed to the point where they take on characteristics of computers, want to merge with computers, or imagine that they are some sort of artificial intelligence device. This behavior can be sly: thinking in algorithms, or a series of if/then statements that proceed steadily to an absurd conclusion that goes unnoticed. It includes someone sending a Venmo invoice to their friends after they had dinner at their home, and much that would have been called obnoxious even 10 years ago. Humans have the tendency to become like their tools, many examples exist: for instance, thinking people (yourself, others, etc.) should act like an app and deliver instant results. Any time you are expected (or expect yourself) to have no feelings, you’ve been digitized. This is not actually who you are, though it is being imposed upon you. And you have some decisions to make, all of which will be based upon who and what you think you are. Consider that all of this digital obsession is an artificial contrivance, and it’s being imposed on us with enormous pressure, speed and duress — always for the gain of others. You have deeper, more humane values than any of this. Make contact with them (meaning with yourself) now while you can, and stay in contact every hour of every day. May your mantra be: I am human.
While I am always reluctant to write a glowing prognosis for the future in a horoscope column — the world is too complicated, and there is always something that can go wrong — you simply must be optimistic about your life at this time. I don’t mean hopeful.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — The singularly great astrological event of 2022 takes place in your sign, and involves its classical ruling planet (Jupiter), the modern ruling planet (Neptune) and even the planet that is exalted in your sign (Venus) is showing up for the festivities. While I am always reluctant to write a glowing prognosis for the future in a horoscope column — the world is too complicated, and there is always something that can go wrong — you simply must be optimistic about your life at this time. I don’t mean hopeful. I mean: engage your passion, your faith in existence, your ideas, and the people who love you, and do what you came to do on this planet. Some people know what this is instinctively. Some find out through a process of experimentation. Most people, though, hear a voice whispering to them that they ignore or brush off. They have a sense of what they really want, along with a whole load of excuses why that thing cannot be. Others are consumed by fear and insecurity. In our time, many are subverted by the nagging sensation that even if there is a future, it won’t be worth living. To you who may consult astrology for a reading of the signs and the omens, that’s not what they are saying now — certainly not for you. Yes, there will be challenges in the future, and some serious ones. Yet that also presents you with an occasion you can rise to. Anyway, you are here now, and for all you know, this is your one and only lifetime — and it’s happening at this moment. This is your moment, there is no time to wait, no justification to do anything but step into the truth of your existence, and to envision your reality in the highest possible form. Start where you are — and proceed from there.
Thank you Eric , as an Aries, counting blessings.
with gratitude,
Lauren
Dear Eric,
Thank you for sharing your wisdom. I find myself in weird place in history now. I am 65 and now couch surfing amount family and friends with very little resources, mainly a car, but with cost of living an issue, have to ration everything I do to make it go the distance. In saying this I have found a newfound appreciation in public gardens, in the kindness and generosity of people , strangers mainly who go out of their way to offer food, paying it forward to those less off and how; after masks, separation and restrictions, the people who see that I am human, not invisible but as one who suffers same as everyone else, they look into my eyes, they ask how am I and they smile a smile that warms my heart and lifts my soul. I am truly grateful to be alive, as many of my friends have not made it. I am blessed to have 4 Grandsons who teach me about mind craft, time travel, portals and inventions, they are only in primary school and yet are excited about the new world where you are not defined by anything other than being a human : Not A Robot. The blessings behind the ‘pandemic’ has made people fall in love with their home, their community, why they work and what they value, we are becoming and we are transforming, the young are showing the way. Thank You Eric for paving the way and painting a picture of the future we wish to see, I pray in Australia we have a new government that leads our nation in connection, creativity and compassion, is shown for our humanity and step up and lead by example of how to bring our best self to a Peaceful, participation in family, neighbours, community and country.
I want to praise the young people who bring awareness to what is happening with our water, who is buying up land and what is the use of such land, how to protect our ocean as we are girt by sea. How we grow our food and what health and wellness looks like without chemical interference. As an Island there will be no future if we mine and take from the earth of this ancient land; all the good that Mother Earth brings without nature to nurture.
Kind regards Pauline Jones. Daughter, Mother , Grandmother,
One Planet, One People. Free to be me. Grateful Thanks for all staff and Eric who are doing business in the new world, leading the way.
