Monday Morning Horoscope #159 for Jan. 14, 2019
This week’s contact between Jupiter and Neptune may be challenging for some, though for you, it’s providing remarkable assistance in focusing your vision. You will know when something is the right thing to do, or a particular direction is the right one to take. If it is, you will seem to be drawn in its direction, and if it’s not, you’ll feel like you’re bumping into an invisible barrier that’s preventing you from moving forward. Meanwhile, Venus joining Jupiter in the bold Sagittarius midheaven angle of your chart is reminding you to keep the human touch. It is you and not your accomplishments or goals that will speak the most credibly. Present yourself as you are. Stay positive, stay visible, and be bold about your vision for your life and for the world. It’s true that we are in some very strange times at the moment, though you are uniquely situated to be able to handle the weirdness, deftly and elegantly. Fear no one. Let them be a little intimidated by you, then reveal how friendly you are.
Monday Morning Horoscope #167 for March 11, 2019
Mercury is retrograde in your sign, and this is giving you an opportunity to unravel or undo a situation that is not working for you. Or rather, just let it happen. This is a better time to take a passive role than an active one. Observe slowly and carefully rather than coming to conclusions. There is plenty that you cannot see, including a point of benefit or assistance that is waiting in the wings. Let people and things come to you rather than you going to them; or if you’re the one who shows up, do so, and see what they have to offer. Ease back and allow, as much as you can. This will shift your orientation, and open you up to possibilities you would have missed otherwise. I suggest that observing and noticing what’s available be your primary occupation during Mercury retrograde. That, and tidying up promises you’ve made, and making sure you’ve fulfilled your end of any agreement.
Monday Morning Horoscope #183 for July 1, 2019
Get it going. By which I mean, get yourself going — heat up that creative furnace, get the cauldron simmering, and dive in. Try to set this week aside, as much as possible, for the artist, the lover, the poet, the rocker in you. Take a little more time than usual to live as if you’re the artist you want to be, and who you know you are inside. That means some extra self-indulgence. It might mean a little extra derring-do on the sexual front, allowing yourself to be a bit more forward and approaching the person you want. If you’re with a partner, drop a few layers of inhibition and maybe answer the door naked when s/he comes home. That kind of thing. Do it right now — dust off your pastels, find your sketchbook, tune the guitar or put on new strings, and stock up on your favorite libation. There’s about to be a total solar eclipse in the very sweetest angle of your chart, the high-energy 5th house, which is about taking the risk of having some liberated, creative fun.
Monday Morning Horoscope #189 for August 12, 2019
Jupiter, the planet from ancient astrology associated with Pisces, has changed to direct motion. Yes, this happens once a year, though this time, it’s occurring in Sagittarius, your house of professional achievement, reputation and aspiration. This will help you set in motion some long-delayed plans. (Much of what I’ve written for Sagittarius applies to you.) The thing to be cautious of is committing to a course of action before you have full information. For the next few weeks, you will need to experiment consciously, and see what works. You are persistent, and you can be driven, though for now, you want to be efficient. There will be wisdom in taking the path of least resistance — to the place you want to go. For the best route, follow the water. Walking alongside a river is a good way to avoid having to climb mountains. (The river is your emotional flow, your most exciting ideas, and the work you truly feel like doing.)
Monday Morning Horoscope #197 for Oct. 7, 2019
The cloud of Jupiter square Neptune (in full force from January through September) is gradually clearing. This is allowing you to be more realistic about your desires, your ambitions and your overall life plans. Please don’t be afraid to reassess anything you said you wanted to do this year, including some things you may have started and made an investment in. This will allow you to make some choices and direct your energy where you’re likely to be happier with your results. The emphasis of your chart is rapidly shifting to the 11th house, which is Capricorn. This is the house of “hopes and dreams,” your highest vision for yourself, your relationship to society and — notably — the money you earn from your profession. Jupiter, your traditional ruling planet, arrives there in a few weeks, after its current trek through late Sagittarius and a visit with the Galactic Core. Set some real goals for yourself. Not a lot — just a few. Set the rest aside.
