Planet Waves Inner Space for November 2006
Monthly horoscopes are delivered to subscribers one each Monday beginning with the first Monday that the Sun is in the new sign. We have four different ones. If there are five Mondays while the Sun is in a sign, there is no horoscope the fifth Monday.
Aries (March 20-April 19)
In any matter involving shared financial obligations, consider the responsibilities and benefits to everyone equally. You all stand much to gain and, if you are careless and lose sight of your shared priorities, much to lose. Don’t be fooled by the seeming difficulty. Working together, everyone can come up with a creative solution that improves the quality of life and loosens up the obsessive and sometimes too-serious environment that often exists in your home lately.
Taurus (April 19-May 20)
There may not be room in your house to contain all the feelings that are being expressed so freely. What everyone needs to make room for is gentleness and the fact that others exist too. Often this involves the fair use of physical space. There seems to be a lot of pressure to make things bigger — rooms, furniture, the house itself. While you’re thinking about that, see if more conscious and efficient sharing of the existing space helps at all.
Gemini (May 20-June 21)
Many factors contribute to health; many factor into sickness. Part of the human condition seems to be difficulty acting on one and not the other once we have the opportunity to do so. Other times we forget that decisions often come in layers, and commitment deepens as we see the need to honor a certain path or set of necessities. From what I can see, what you really need is the sense that you are mentally and emotionally healthy. And that is within reach.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Feeling good has its rewards, and by now you’ve seen that the more attention you pay to your physical space, the better you do emotionally. If you want to define a growth zone, work the line between where your space meets your psychic environment. The more room you open for yourself, that is, the person you are becoming, the more your passion and creative energy will be able to flow. Notice, however, the contrast between a clear environment, and the ability to work with, rather than against, the chaos that is entirely necessary for anything new to come into the world.
Leo (July 22-Aug. 23)
You may feel like you’ve grown too comfortable with certain patterns of your life, or solidly fixed into your living space. Rather than use feeling a bit settled as an excuse to unsettle, it would appear time to use your home as a base and embark on the next adventure. This clearly involves either some unusual creative experiment in your home, or an adventure of some kind that takes you beyond familiar territory. Remember, this is not about armchair travel. The planets will soon be calling you outside anything you may define as safe and familiar territory. Get ready.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22)
There’s little use feeling stuck, though in some respect or another, you appear to be going deeper into a psychological quagmire. This has something to do not with your living environment but rather with the community in which you live. If you were to close your eyes and walk out your door, what would be the first thing you would bump into? How long would you have to walk around with your eyes closed before you encountered something actually pleasant or nourishing? How long would it take with your eyes open?
Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23)
You seem to be taking a hard line in a relationship. Is this really the way you want to go? Is it really how you want to live? You may feel you’ve grown tired of negotiating what you need, and like you have to find legal excuses not to feel guilty about having some power over your space. But I would propose that negotiation really is the way to proceed, rather than keeping score or finding blame. A solution exists from which everyone will benefit. Before you decide someone is unwilling to try, you have to ask.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22)
Do you feel like you fit in your home? Or are you constantly wiggling and making adjustments? Psychologically and emotionally, this is a restless time for you. Don’t blame your living space, though the tension you’re going through may point to a few obvious ways you can make improvements. You might want to create spaces that are free of communication devices. Even one room without any magnetized, psychic devices would suffice.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22)
The experience of living in two planes of reality at once may reach its peak this month. Fortunately, they are both pleasant enough, and you’re not usually the type who demands exact order or rationality every moment of the day. But you could do better. You could drop some weight on the physical plane, clear a few of the things you have three of, and make room for the new life that awaits you just around the next corner. Think of your current life as a miniature of something about to get a lot larger. Make sure it’s a model you want.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20)
You may be struggling to get more for your money, a better deal, or at the least, a clearer arrangement with close associates or living partners. It is true, clarity is efficiency, and for the moment, I suggest that the fewer words the better. You’re in a position where you must assess the integrity of someone or something, and you had best let actions do all the talking. But you’ll also need to give things time — at least one month — before coming to any kind of final decision.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19)
Aquarius is the sign that builds the recording studio in the basement, the short-wave radio room in the attic and the cannery in the kitchen. But your at-home hobbies have more career potential than you may imagine. Well, you may be imagining they have a lot of potential, without thinking it’s worth doing something about. I can assure you that if you try, both the challenges and rewards will be greater than you imagined. But it would seem you’re up to the task, and would thrive on a little greater independence.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Certain individuals who seem to be hindering you are actually pointing you to alternative solutions that are more effective than the ones you were working toward so diligently. You must allow yourself a phase of considering the very long-term possibilities and results of what you’ve been doing, including the basic facts of where you want to live and work in the long run. This is not the time to take action — though that’s nearly at hand. This is the time to dream, and dream clearly.
