Planet Waves by Eric Francis
FLAUNT, May 2006
Aries (March 20-April 19)
Congratulations, you survived. Survived what? This you know and I do not. Indeed, this you know and no other seems to be aware. It’s likely to be too early to tell the end effects of recent events, but who needs the end when you’ve got the beginning? And that, for sure, you really have.
Taurus (April 19-May 20)
Never again will you respond like that under pressure. Usually it takes just once to get the message, and I reckon you’ve got it now. You have to be the keeper of the tempo in your own life. If you don’t get to choose what you decide, at least you get to choose when you decide it. I know, you got fogged over by someone or something. But not next time.
Gemini (May 20-June 21)
Your progress is never straightforward, but neither is it sideways. You tend to retrace your steps, only to be surprised by your own footprints. Then for a long time you walk and there are no signs that anyone has covered the territory in modern times. But the discovery you are about to make will ring with the truth that somebody has figured this out before.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Limits are so strange. Because once we’ve gone past them, we can realize they were never there at all, or they existed in ways that had nothing to do with how we perceived them. The whole game seems to be to perceive what we think holds us back accurately, or maybe it’s all a matter of timing, or of growth. All of these seem to be working for you now.
Leo (July 22-August 23)
Saturn in your birth sign is not a once-in-a-lifetime event, but coming every 27 years, it’s not your usual garden variety transit, either. There is a distinct before and after effect, with the “in between” taking about two years. What were you before? What do you need to be now? Now is the time to do everything in your power to make the change.
Virgo (August 23-September 22)
Virgo is the integration point: the bodymind, the intuitive intellectual breakthrough, the human technology that far exceeds anything created by man. Lately there has been so much pressure to bring together things that don’t normally seem like opposites — to embody the fusion of fire and water. I think you’ve done it.
Libra (September 22-October 23)
You seem to be seeking absolute clarity about something. It’s as if you will have no rest until you understand your place in the world and it understands its role within your purposes and plans. It may seem like asking too much to have everything that you perceive yield to your perception of your needs. But you’ve come a long way to get here.
Scorpio (October 23-November 22)
Achievement demands sacrifice, or so we are told. On that assumption, decide now what cost you are willing to pay to accomplish what you need to accomplish, and be willing to part with it. Then go about your business; set your goals; fight your battles; do what you must do. And in the end, see if you had to give up anything at all.
Sagittarius (November 22-December 22)
Now is the time for the great social and spiritual missions of the future to begin. Now is the time to set the agenda, to seek the true direction, to plant the seed. Art counts. The idea is to summon any method of allowing yourself to become a radical, and lead yourself toward the most important goal you have set for yourself.
Capricorn (December 22-January 20)
Make careful moves now because more than most times, you are creating a setup for the future. When you get there, you will recognize it by these properties: you should be intimidated, but you are not; you are clear with yourself about what you have to offer; you set your price; you know what you can reasonably expect of others.
Aquarius (January 20-February 19)
You have what it takes to face the world. The only thing you risk injuring are your ideals, which do tend to get hurt when you recognize that not everyone is capable of thinking beyond their own selfish ends. Yes, there are people who still believe in truth and justice, and you are one of them. Just don’t be shocked if you got it right this time.
Pisces (February 19-March 20)
You have placed enormous emphasis on safety the past few months, and for what has seemed like good reason. Can you think of a way to get entirely above that concern? You need to go beyond it, because any true form of creativity requires either challenging or completely letting go of what you thought was safe. This is not as dangerous as it sounds.
